Connection or what?

On my way to work I couldn't stop smiling. Thoughts if these two girls were still on my mind. Huh, I just don't understand.

"Why are you so happy?" My chaperon Rayan Lopez asked me.

"I'm just feeling great today, I said giddily.

"You found a girl?"

Well not exactly but I see two "that I like."

"Details now!"

"Ok. When I went to the dinner party the other night, I saw the most beautiful sexy girl, with sapphire red hair and the perfect figure. Her face looked so familiar I just couldn't put my finger on it."

"Is she rich?"

"I don't really know, but she looked elegant."

"Oh so what about the other girl?"

'Well, " I said while scratching my head. "She works at a diner."

"Lol!!!" Rayray began to laugh. He was laughing so hard he almost ran off the road.

"Why the hell are you laughing?" I asked.

"A diner bae? You must be freakin kidding me, Jay, you're a damn billionaire, boys like you don't stoop low man."

'Yeah I know, but she is also very hot, and he face looked so familiar also, but you're right I don't stoop low.

"That's my buddy," ray said while giving me a thumbs up.

We arrived at work. I work at a family owned business, Perez Incorporated. Or P.inc. I'm an accountant \ supervisor \  co- manager of the business.

"Good morning," I greeted the receptionist, Mickaylea. She has a huge crush on me but yuck. Her?!

"Good morning to you too boss," she answered in her seductive voice.

I really didn't want to have a conversation with her because she's just, man, crazy as hell, so I gave her gave her a smirk then went the other direction. To be honest this company building is huge and I have to take the elevator because my office is on the 45th floor.

Today, I had a young lady coming in for an interview. I had no idea towards her appearance. I didn't know how she looked. Lord only knows how much I wanted her to be moss lady in black.

About 15 minutes after my sitting down in the office, I realised that I was seeing my office door open, but it was opening slightly. Just then I saw some red hair peeping through the door.

"Is this her!" I screamed in my head, while rampaging in my chair.

"Mr. Perez?" I heard her say.

"Yes, it's me, come in," I instructed her while fixing my tie.

"Well good morning. My name is Sarah Delilah, and I'm here for the interview?" She said while walking into the office ever so slowly. To my surprise it wasn't my girl, it was just a regular ol' red headed girl. And p.s her red hair is so artificial.

"Ok then, let's start, how old are you?"

"I'm 20 years old, "

"Huh Ok, but to speed things up a bit let's start by you telling me everything about yourself. Just the bear essentials."

"Oh wow so I graduated from Princeton university, I live by myself, I lived in Florida but moved here. I'm an A+ scholar in every subject. I've had work experience at a well renounced business sector in Miami, so you could say I have some whatty riches. And I'm a mixed american … black and white that is."

"Oh, wow you sound like an amazing young woman, well we'll be selecting a couple a stuff so we'll call you tomorrow."

"K thanks."

She looked great but my body wasn't physically attracted to her. She was hot and all but her curves didn't match up to lad in black's. I wonder what she's up to.

Claire's POV

This morning was hella hella busy, I can't believe that we've served 97 customers and it's been like an hour and a have now. Like damn these people are greedy.

Anyways, the boss called us in his office. He told us that he likes how we've all been performing , and that he was going to give one of us a promotion.

Doubts of it being me was all over my mind, but to my surprise, boss called my name.

I was now manager of the month, and I got promoted as supervisor. With these promotions, I'll be getting more money than I've ever gotten before. Lord you are good, and your mercies endureth for ever.

"Woww Claire you got promoted!" Kelly and alejandrea said with excitement.

"Yeah I know. Wow this is such a honor I can't believe. Mom is gonna flip, I can't wait to tell her," I answered feeling so grateful.

"Well that's all you can all go back to your work stations."

Promotion. That word still clicks in my head. Laugh out loud😌😏😝.

My shift ended pretty early today. ( well it ended at 12 the right time, but it still felt too early), anyways I went on a stroll to the park after I wrote my dismissal resignation.

There I was minding my own business, sitting on a park bench and eating on apple when a lone object hit me in my head.

"What's the big deal?" I asked

"I'm so sorry," a little said to me while taking up her red disk.

"No it's Ok," I told her.

Boy am I attracted to bad luck. No sah.

I didn't feel the mood to stay in the park anymore so I left. In that same moment I was walking pass Perez Incorporated. There I saw Jacob coming out of the building shouting.

"Let go of me Mickaylea." He shouted.

"No Jacob I love you." She retorted while moving closer and closer towards his face, but he responded while pushing her off, nearly making her hit the ground.

"Gosh you bitch, just leave me alone. Don't you understand? I don't love you, my dad wants me to be with you but I don't want to, just get it."

"Jacob, I don't think that your dad would appreciate you talking to your fiancé like that," she told him while making her voice more 2octives higher.

"Just augg," he screamed. He then flashed her off then made his way towards where I was hiding. I couldn't allow him to see me so just like spider man, i jumped behind a bush.

I do t think that he saw me because she would be asking me why I jumped behind a damn bush.

He then stood right in front of the bush and began to talk to him self.

"Lord, why did I have to be rich? Why did my dad want to marry her? Huh, couldn't she be like that sweet bae at the diner, or the red head at the party?!"

Wait wait wait, is he talking about me?

"I like her so much and she's so beautiful. Would I love to slap her butt up."

"Lol ,"I blushed.

To my surprise my phone began to ring. Thank god it was on vibrate. It was mom. I had to answer her, so I tipped toed pass Jacob, then made a run for it.

"Yeah mom?"

"Babe, hurry and come out, we're going out tonight."

"Oh wow, Ok I'll be there in 10."

Now tonight is Gonna be one hella night.
