Claire felt like the only choice she had left was to go see a psychiatrist and be admitted into a psychiatric ward.
Confusion and perplexity were all running throughout her veins.
"Jacob?"
"Yes hun?"
"Do you think I'm crazy?" Claire asked as she turned from his hug and stared him desperately in his eyes.
Jacob looked vaguely at claire, smirking a bit.
"No I don't," He said as he placed both his hands on her shoulders, trying to assure her that everything is perfectly OK.
Claire didn't respond because she had no idea what to say. Literally.
Instead she just hugged him, allowing one lone tear drop to fall on his shoulder, and went towards the back door to go outside. She needed some air.
Each step she took was filled with fear, anticipation and gloom. Never In her life has she felt this way, like there's no hope, like there is no way out.
Encamped by an environment filled with rabid torment. This was the moment when she really needed her friends.
As she stepped out through the door, she looked both ends, in case there was anyone or anything still lurking around.
She looked beyond the wonderfully assorted coloured flowers of various kinds in the garden to the left. Hoping to see something. But there was Nothing.
She looked over by the pool, and in return, saw nothing.
She sighed a very small sigh of some relief and headed to garage. Luckily for her, she saw that the car that she and jacob entered with was still in the drive way, so she went in.
"Oh crap!" She uttered out very silently. "The gate isn't even open."
She opened the car door and went towards the gate. There she saw a car parked near her yard but not too near.
She decided that she was not going to allow a car to tick her off, so she paid very little attention to it.
Once again, she went inside the car, praying that there will be no more distractions.
As she began to drive out she heard the starting of an engine.
She instantly stopped her car.
Her automatic reflexes enabled her body to move and look to where the sound was coming.
Just then, she saw a car leaving right from her gate. The same car she saw from before. Yes it wasn't parked directly at the front of her gate, but it was leaving from her gate, if you understand.
"What the hell?" Claire mumbled softly.
She watched as the car drove off. Her suspicion grew bigger.
Claire started to wonder if she was getting too caught up in this scared shit, that maybe this fear was giving her the benefit of the doubt.
That people are actually out for her.
She shook her head then turned around and started the engine again. This time, she drove out of the yard and onto the streets.
"OK Sapphire. You are not crazy!" She mentally scolded herself with laughter. "You are just being..... Too stupid, ok? No one is out to get you."
She finally drove out of the neighbourhood and onto the roads of LA.
She sighed a deep and sorrow filled sigh. After getting married, she had not visited her friends, that was very bad.
"I can't go to see my friends after so long and go empty handed, they already hate me enough," she chuckled.
She knew exactly what she was gonna do.
On the corner of Lawson and Mains was a store that sold everything. It was an expensive store in some aspects, but it was worth it for her because these were for her friends.
She drive up to the small parking lot where she parked the car facing out, for easier access. She wanted it to be like, as she left the store, she can head straight to Miranda's, no hassle, no obstacles.
After parking her car, she stepped out and proceeded her whereabouts towards The Errythang Store.
While walking towards the entrance, she saw some girls moving very closely towards where she was walking.
She was going to create a scene and act all "ANGRY JAMAICAN" ,but she allowed her mind to speak otherwise.
Just then she saw one of the girls somehow appear out of nowhere and began smiling with her.
"Can I help you?" Claire asked in the most kindest way possible that she can. She didn't want to unleash the monster you know.
"Yes you can. Aggghh!!" The girl screamed. "You're Mrs. Perez!" She yelled with excitement and joy.
"I love you so much, I follow both you and you're babe on IG ," she explained very giddily.
"Oh, that's great, thank you, but what can I do you fah, because I have to buy something real fast and leave real faster."
"Omg. Ya do? Well I only needed a PIC but if you're in a rush I guess that you can go," she said very sad and disappointedly while giving claire puppy dog eyes hoping for her to change her mind.
Instead, claire said " I wasn't gonna take no damn picta with you in di first place," and stepped pass her and made her way inside 'errything'.
