Claire's POV

So yeah Princeton found out that it was me last night.. What's the big deal? Its not like I could have run back to him.( yeah I could, I chose not to. ). Now since he's realizing more and more that I'm the diner bae, I gotta keep my head covered extra careful now.

I took a tam and covered my head. It had two little horns on the ends tots adorbs.

I also put on my peach tank and my grey sweats with my grey sweater. Damn i look hot...

"Mom see you in a while," i smiled.

"Ok babe." She exclaimed while looking in a house catalogue. Yeah she was already looking for a new house. Dad left a lot of money.

"Wait where clairissa and clarissa?"

"Oh they're at their friends house. They forgot to say bye but the wanted me to tell you.. Byeeee!!"

"Ok mom love you!"

"Love you too babe."

I ran to the bus stop feeling so happy, like I just done know why I feel so great, but i just do. Today is the day when i first act my duty as the manager.

I jumped on a bus and headed my way to the diner.

*****happy."Good morning boss, good morning boss" was all they were saying. Yeah yeah i know that some of them are jealous but thats just their problems. I am happy and god is also happy.

"So what do i do as acting manager ,"i asked my boss.

"Well honey the first thing that you do is order the People around and tell them what to do."

"But sir, wont they hate me?" I asked him?

"It doesn't matter sweet cakes. They could hate you all they want they didn't get promoted ."

"Yeah you are right." I told him.

So now these people have to treat me with respect and if they hate me that is their problems.

"Ok guys.. Today is gonna be a very busy one. Lets just give it our all and do our best ok?"

"Ok mam!" They all unisoned.

That felt damn great. Like i gotta go to church on Sunday, which is two days from now, man the time is flying so fast.

I took a few orders today, hoping to see my afro bae but no, he didn't come today i felt so pissed.
But why? Its not like i like him. Do I? Yes i do.. He's just so amazing in every way he's just the perfect angel.

"Guys," i said to them." Im going on a lunch break. Ill be back"

Yeah yeah I know that I work in a ' diner' but I need to get away from the hazards of diner scents once In a while.

Instead of buying something to eat, I went to take a stroll in the park.

P.s i don't know if y'all realised that but i love to walk in the park. I was walking when i heard some singing. I tiptoed towards the sound, gosh dammit, it was Jacob. He was there with two other dudes, i heard him mention their names a few times. One is Mike and the other is Ej.

I heard them singing a song saying something about i want DAT. Like amma be truthful, this song sounds dope. It had a few expletives but i like it.

Remember y'all I'm a Christian so i shouldn't be listening to these songs but Mann its catchy..

I was hiding behind a bush and i was actually dancing to this song.

"Man i would really like for us launch this song man but my dad is all like ' Mindless Behaviour?' What the ff**?? He's s dickwaad."
"Nah Jay its OK, we can still listen to them.."

I was dancing so terrible that i fell in the bushes.

"Is someone here?" Jacob asked.

I didn't reply dauu.. I heard him get up so i tried to make a run for it. Shiiidd he caught me.

"Hiii??" I said feeling all humiliated.

"Hmm were you watching us? Wait don't i know you? Man you're hot."

"Thanks," i replied while getting up. "And no i doubt that you know me."

"No,no," he rambled while staring in my eyes. Man were them tempting. I wanted to grab his face and suck his tongue out but that would be too freaking weird.

"Yes omg ,you work at the diner, damn now i know you. "

"Yeah yeah don't rub it in," i said while kicking my foot out. "So you figured it out, but i don't think that you would wanna start s conversation with me."

"Why not? Wait do you have a twin sister?"

"No ,why?" You know what i can't do this anymore. I can't let him get attached to me. He will be heart broken, so i ran off.
