"You know what, Caleb? You can go alone. I'm tired of all this bullshit you're giving me. I am not going to surround myself with people who act depressed and angry all the time, because that's not the kind of person I want to become!" I scream in absolute frustration. "I'll pack my things and be gone in an hour."
Trudging up to my bedroom, I'm fuming. If I was a cartoon, there would be fire coming out of my ears, not just steam.
I violently pull open the door to one of our massive storage closets and pull out 2 of the biggest suitcases we have. I drag them both into my bedroom and begin shoving whatever I can into them. I take all of the clothing that I like the best, and then all the other stuff that I use on a daily basis.
I find picture after picture of Caleb and me, and shove them all back into the same place.
An old box.
I stand up and almost have a heart attack when I see Caleb standing in my doorway. He's leaning against the frame of it, his hands shoved in his pockets.
"You should let me go. It's easier." He says with a sad look in his eyes.
I look at my already packed suitcases. "I'm actually done, so if you'd excuse me." I start rolling my bags to the door, but he doesn't move as I approach him.
"No, Enny. You can't leave. This is your apartment. Just let me go instead. I'm not needed here anyway." His eyes are cast down to the carpeted floor as he says this.
"Caleb, move. I'm leaving now, and you can't stop me. I couldn't stand to be in this gloomy place a minute longer."
"As you wish." He steps to the side and I'm surprised that he went down with so little fight.
I drag my stuff through the door and begin the tricky descent down the stairs. I eventually say screw it, and just make a run for it, not caring how bad the stairs get damaged. I won't be coming back here for a while. Not unless something changes.
I grab my car keys, a jacket, and put on my sneakers by the door before stepping out into the bright hallway.

so it's been a little while since I've updated this story...oops. I'm hoping to continue writing more in the future, now that school's coming to a close. I still have a little over 2 weeks left.
Warning: The next chapters will take place in the future. (A year or 2)
Hope you've enjoyed so far!
