[11] Trying to live

Quinn's P.O.V.

I sit up straight as they still look at me in shock.

"What's wrong with you guys? What happened?" I ask frantically. They just keep staring.

"You where dead. How are you alive?" Luca asks, scared out of his mind.

"My mom sent me back. I think. But I know things Kayle needs to know. Like right now. As in let's go back to camp." I say trying as hard as I could to get up but I wouldn't stand up.

"You can't walk on your ankle, Quinn. I'll go grab the crutches." Beth hurried off somewhere.

"I need to find Kaylee, Luca. I hope they get here soon. I'm surprised they didn't think to come here." I say in a worried tone. "They all could be dead." I start to cry thinking my sister could be dead.

"Their not dead. They'll be here soon. I can feel it." Luca sits next to me and rubs my back.

"What happened to my ankle, Hershel?" I ask him.

"You most likely stepped in a left behind knife someone had, and slipped on it but also hurt your self on it." I nod.

"Here you go." Beth hands me the crutches.

"Thank you. Both of you. It's means a lot that you care so much, all of you. Where's Maggie?" I ask looking around.

"She's out on the porch She'll be in soon." As soon as Beth says that she comes in for the night.

"Hi Quinn. Are you okay?" Maggie asks.

"Ya, by a lot actually." I say with a smile. "But where will we sleep." I point to Luca and I.

"Um. In the guests room I guess. Unless you want to share with Beth and I?" She suggested.

"I'll sleep with you girls. Like a sleep over. I haven't had one of those scene the beginning of all of this." I say with a smile from ear to ear.

They help me up the stairs till we get to one room with two beds and a t.v. that doesn't work. We all sit on one bed in a circle.

"So where's Kaylee?" Maggie questions me.

"She was with Luca an I before me and Luca went hunting in the woods. But something bad happened, walkers chased after us causing us to run and hide. But we fount that car up front and I told him where to go." I say with a nod.

"Sounds like you've had a tough patch in your pants." Maggie says with a laugh that you could die for.

"Ya it has. I miss her so much. I should have never went with Luca into the woods to hunt. She must be worried sick." I look down.

"She'll find ya. Don't worry as much as you are, she'll be here and you'll be a team again, just like the old days." Beth assured me.

"Well we better hit the hay." Maggie says with a yawn.

"Agreed." Both Beth and I say together.

"Good night." Was the last words I heard before I entered my dream land.
