Kaylees pov

My eyes fluttered open and I was still lying on Clarke's lap, her hand was slumped over my shoulder and I just smiled, I haven't even known them for 24 hours and I already feel comfortable with them. I yawned, shifting out of her arms I stretched and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes.

I used my hands to push myself up off the ground but fell back down right away, the stinging pain in my leg traveled through my whole body. I looked back at Clarke to see she was still asleep. I attempted it again and made it, shuffling to the front of the cave I noticed Bellamy walking back, a couple squirrels and bunnies in his hand.

"Bellamy." I called not too loud, I stepped out further, almost falling once again but caught myself.

"Hey, be careful." He went to my side, wrapping his arm around my side to help me walk back into the cave.

"Got some food." He smiled, sitting down across from me and a still sleeping Clarke. Bellamy began to fix the fire and place the food on to hear them up to heat.

"I....I don't remember what happened." I blurted, staring at my bandaged leg, wondering how I could possibly have done this when last I remember doing was running from the farm.

"Well we found you passed out, lying on the ground bleeding out." He said, throwing the squirrel onto this grate thing that was over the fire. I thought about it for a second, I thought about how that was possible. There was a small groan that came from beside me, turning my head I saw Clarke waking up.

"Morning." Bellamy looked at her and smiled, earning one back from her.

"So, what are we gonna do today?" I asked.

"I was thinking we head out, look for somewhere to stay. Start a new life."

"Bellamy, do you even know where we're going?" Clarke asked, looking around to scan the forest for anything that came at us, which nothing did.

"I don't know," Bellamy answered honestly, looking at some old map that was ripped and torn and just really old. Letting out a sigh he crumpled it up and threw it away, his hands found their way to his backpack and be kept them there while we walked.

As we went on to walk the wooded area became very familiar for some reason, the trees looked like I've seen them before, and when I got closer one of them had a carving in them, it looked familiar.

"Up there." Clarke pointed, she began to sprint which led to Bellamy and I sprinting after her, when she stopped there was a huge field in front of us, and the familiar farm house that I left less than two days ago.

"I don't wanna meet new people." I said, turning around to leave but Bellamy grabbed my wrist, forcing me to turn around.

"This could be our new life." He whispered, having hope in his tone. But I couldn't go back, I've already lied to Bellamy and Clarke and I just got up and left the farm.

"No, I don't wanna stay here." I turned around again but this time he picked me, threw me over his shoulder and started to walk out into the field.

"Bellamy." Clarke said seriously, her red narrowing at his brown hair.

"Bellamy, put me down." I punched his back lightly, trying to get him to put me down.

"I'll stay but it's gonna look weird if you walk up to them with a girl over your shoulder." I stated, giving up already. He sighed, putting me down and walking again, my heart began to race as we reached the tents where Rick and Carl and everyone else stayed, but no one was there, well outside.

"Why is so-" Clarke started before getting cut off by someone I didn't want to see.

"Kaylee." Carl was shocked as he stood in front of us, his lips parted, his eyes wide and his hair had grew a little bit since I left.

"I..." I didn't know what to say, I didn't know how to say anything, I wanted Clarke and Bellamy to stay, I wanted to trust me even though I lied.

"Kaylee...how do you know this boy?" Clarke asked, her eyes focused on me as I stared at Carl.

I looked to the ground before answering "I...I ran away from here."

"W-why would you run away if you had a safe place to stay with people that could protect you?" I could hear Bellamy was annoyed and angry with me, which I don't blame him but I started to like him and Clarke.

"Because of my sister, she ran away, said she wasn't coming back. She ruined my life and I wanted a new one. I thought maybe a new life could start with you guys, maybe I was wrong." Right then and there people began to exit the house, Rick and Shane immediately holding their guns up when they saw Clarke and Bellamy.

"Woah..woah." Bellamy put his hands up, Clarke following.

"Where the hell did you find her?" Rick asked through gritted teeth.

"It's okay, they're with me. Something happened to my leg and they helped me." I said, everyone either bad shocked faces on or disappointed faces. Daryl, well I couldn't tell his expression.

"Thanks for keeping her safe." Daryl let out, earning a death glare from me. I still can't forgive him. He's not my dad.

"Can they stay?" I asked, hopeful, maybe they would them.

"Not for long, but we'll decide when that time ends." Rick said, going back into the house.

I sighed deeply as people followed him, except for Luca. I turned to Clarke and Bellamy for a second.

"I'm sorry I lied."

"Sorry ain't gonna cut it, we'll talk to you later." Bellamy was pissed and I was kinda hurt by what he said, he doesn't know half the things that's happened to me. He'll just have to learn. They walked away, leaving Luca, Carl and I.

"Oh and just so you know, Quinn came back." Carl said, leaving me to be a tad bit angry at myself, after that he followed everyone inside.

"What the fuck Kaylee? You can't just go off like that, I was worried."

"That's nice." I just walked by, hitting his shoulder on the way. Oh how I can't wait for Quinn to come back.
