H- holidays (Around the world in 80 annoying photographs)

Jace was fuming mad. Not only were his visions of him slowly murdering the girl he loved in different ways driving him insane, but every five minutes his phone would buzz to remind him he had seventy-eight new photo messages.

Sure, he wanted to see how his Parabati was getting on, but he REALLY didn't want to see Alec's crazy warlock boyfriend in a kimono or a glittery tutu or Angel knows what else. The pictures of Magnus in a sari had scarred him deeply.

Eventually the beeping tone got too much, and he unlocked his phone, meaning to simply scroll through each one to remove the notification. Come on Jace, he thought. Man up, do this for Alec.

He clicked on the first pictured. And instantly regretted it but there was no backing out now.

Alec was smiling, happier than Jace had seen him for a while, but Magnus... The High Warlock of Brooklyn was wearing gold spandex trousers paired with an outrageous cerulean blue ruffled shirt. His hair was down, and devoid of glitter, but a large gold and blue pork pie hat was tilted at an angle. In the background, a tourist was looking worried, terrified even. The caption read: 'Rome- having fun without you sucker.'

Jace swiped at the screen, wishing the image to be gone (preferably forever but he wasn't fussy). The next one was just better. Just.

Magnus was wearing a gold and green suit (to match his eyes, Jace imagined. Not that he was into all that) paired with a black silk shirt, red lipstick and black smokey eyes. Jace felt mildly horrified that he had once found red lipstick attractive on women, it was ruined for him, he would never be able to see it again without picturing his Parabati's boyfriend in his mind.

The obnoxious caption taunted Jace that they were in China and would send Jace back a cute duck but it was illegal.

The next picture was a zoomed in picture of a duck's face Jace wasn't sure if it was meant to be there or a mistake.

And he only dropped the phone once

He prepared his mind for the next photo, but was surprised when it came. It was a closer picture- as if one of them had held the camera out in front of them- and just captured their heads and shoulders. They were both smiling, and Alec seemed to glow, to radiate happiness. The background was a city, glowing in the dusk with bright neon lights, and it was just them.

Jace ignored the irritating caption (Tokyo- miss us yet?) and took the phone to show Izzy. He told her to keep flicking through- however nice one photo may have been he was pretty sure that the rest would give his eyes further damage.

Again, I'm sorry for the delay! As a result I know this chapter is crappy and short and kinda lame but I don't wanna keep you guys waiting for too long (unlike some authors.. Cassie and Rick...) so here you go. You'd better enjoy because I slaved over it.
