Everyone's shock was finally broken when Snape cast the counter curse to get rid of the snake.

"What do you think you playing at?" Justin said still in shock. Harry looked confused, as if he hadn't heard the what he had said.

"Maybe we should stop there for today" Lockhart said and I returned my wand to my robes and jumped down from the runway and caught up with Ron, Harry and Hermione.

"Well done, Taylor" Hermione said.

"Thanks" I nodded and turned to harry, "Why were you hissing" I asked he and he looked extremely confused.

"I just told the snake to back off" He replied but I shook my head.

"The whole hall heard it, it sounded like a drunk snake trying to tell the police why he was driving" I said.

"You're a Parselmouth" Hermione said but continued when we all look confused, "Parselmouths can talk to snakes, it's a gift you are born with. Salazer Slytherin was a Parselmouth"

"I spoke a different language?"

"Yes"

"Why was everyone so shocked"

"Because it's associated with dark wizards." Hermione said looking down cast.

Even if I didn't have this gift, I could tell what was going to happen next. The rumors about Harry spiraled out of control, most started by Justin Finch-Fletchley who I was growing a firm dislike for and so did harry. A few days after the dueling club, Justin and Nearly-headless-Nickels were found, frozen in terror . I groaned and rubbed my eyes under my glasses. I was curled up in one of the comfortable arm chair, the fire long since burned out into a pile of embers. I was bare foot, My second hand hoodie and a pair of Pajama trousers. I had pulled up my hood and my Gryffindor clothes blended into the chair perfectly. I Couldn't sleep not tonight, even the potion was over powered. It was a horrible gut feeling, a red flag, something big was going to happen and I needed to know what it was. Suddenly I hear footsteps and to my surprise it was Ginny, but something wasn't right. Her movements where wrong, like she was being controlled by strings. Her eyes were half open, devoid of light. She walked towards the port hole. I got up from the chair and whispered her name, loud enough to get her attention but not loud enough to wake McGonagall sleeping in the room off the side of the common room. She didn't turn only opened the port hole walked though. Even though all my instincts told me not to, I followed.

I quietly followed her, my bare feet making no sound. We walked for a long time though the freezing castle. Winter was coming fast and if I looked out of the window, I could see frost dusting the ground. Now I think of it, it would only be a week or two until the Christmas holiday. Mrs Weasley and Mr Weasley were going to see their son, Bill or Charlie, I couldn't remember. Which meant Me, Ron, Harry, Hermione, The Twins, Ginny and even Percy were going to be here for Christmas. I shook my head, my mind was drifting. We were on the on the second floor and too my surprise, Ginny went into the girl's bathroom. I had heard of this bathroom, a girl of a ghost lived there, I had heard Hermione speak of her and not nice things of that. I sat down onto the cool floor, goose bumps running up and down my body. She could just want a private place to do her business right, maybe her bathroom had a long line. But as soon as the thought crossed my mind, I knew I was trying to convince myself more than anything else. She couldn't be the one, she just couldn't be.

The door to the bath room slowly creaked open and Ginny walked out, but stepped to the side of the door. I could see inside, it was dark, so dark. Then I saw something moving. I felt my inside froze, Bile raising in my throat. My eyes widen and I put a hand to my mouth, trying to take a step back as glowing yellow eye's fix themselves on me.

"Ginny" I gasped before I was frozen. My mind slowly beginning over taking by it. The last thing I remembered was Ginny's emotions face with the single tear the rolled down her cheek and the cracking of my glasses.

(3rd person)

The 5th petrified victim was found outside the second floor girl's bathroom, terrified eyes fixed on the door by Professor Sprout. Her shrill screams, waking up half the castle, as she screamed and sobbed for help. The new spread around quickly and once Harry walked into the hall he, Hermione and Ron was approached by Susan Bones, who was a friend of Justin Finch-Fletchley's.

"I am so sorry, Harry" Tears dripped from her eyes. They looked confused.

"Excuse me, about what?" Harry asked.

"I'm sorry" she left going back to her table in tears. They had no time to ponder this because Professor McGonagall came quickly towards them, looking more tight lipped than ever.

"The Three of you should come with me, quickly" She said and they didn't ask questions, only followed. It was something in the tone of words.

A pit slowly dropped and settled in his stomach as he realised where they were going. They walked into Hospital wing. Turning in at a bed. Sitting there was a worried looking Fred and George, Ginny sitting between them. she was as pale as a sheet and looked like she was going to cried. A blonde, Ravenclaw girl sat on the other side of the bed, mindlessly stoking his hair. But they weren't looking at her, or the twins, or Ginny, they were looking at the bed. It was Taylor. His amber eyes wide, a hand frozen stuck in the air, just about to cover his mouth. On the side table was his glasses, the right lens had a large crack down it. Someone had removed them.

"Oh god" Hermione gasped, tears welling in his eyes.

"The mandrakes that Professor Sprout had been grow will be able to make a potion to undo the affects of the petrifaction, however they will not be ready for a wee while longer I am afraid" Professor McGonagall said turning to leave, "I shall go send an owl to Mr and Mrs Weasley" she said before leaving, the Ravenclaw girl also got up too, following Professor McGonagall.

"Who was she?" Harry asked, drawing up chairs to so that they could all sit up.

"Luna Lovegood, she was already here when we got her, she said that Taylor was her friend" Ginny filled in.

"I can't believe this" Ron said staring down at his step brother.

"I thought Taylor w-was pure-blood" Hermione hiccupped.

"He is, either he was in the wrong place at the wrong time or they are no longer just attacking muggle-borns" George said.

"I thought he was just going don't to the common, he was complaining of static when I asked him" Harry said.

"Static?" Ginny asked.

"It's what he calls it when the flashes of visions become to merged to make out"

"Oh" She looked down at her hand.

"Why was he do by the second floor girl's bathroom then" Ron was suddenly angry.

"I only wish I knew" Fred sighed

Just then Percy walked in, puffed up like normal to show off his prefects badge.

"You're still hanging around here, you should go get some breakfast, or you brain will not be able to function-"

"What are you saying, Percy" George spit his name, cutting him off.

"I am saying there is no point in sitting next to him, he couldn't hear you" Percy fixed his glasses.

"He is our brother, Your brother" Ron clutched his fists.

"He is not my brother and I will never except him as part of our family" Percy said pompously.

"You have been a prat to him ever since him came." Ginny shocked everyone me, she looked furious, "He has probably been hell and back and you have been jealous of him because he accidently stole the spot light when you got prefect. He could be going through hell right now, he could be unable to escape his visions, unable to do anything about them and you-" She stood up and trust her finger into his chest, "Can only think about breakfast!" She shouted the last word. Percy eyed his sister before backing down and leaving. No one spoke after that. It was silent as they stared at Taylor hoping that he would just come back.
