Ch 10 break in

I woke up to screaming. pure terrified chilling scream. I shoved on my glasses and ripped my curtains back with such force, it thought that I may rip them. I had enough time to take in the shadow fleeing from the round and Ron's ripped curtains.
"Ron, I are you ok" fulling pulling open his curtains. Ron was chalk white, still shouting and screaming with terror. "Ron what's wrong, who was that? Calm down" I shook him violently before he was finally able to say.
"Sirius Black, Sirius Black was in my room. He had a knife!" He was panicked. That wasn't possible. No one can get into the common room without the passwords. I let go of Ron and steadied myself on one of his bed posts. Everyone was up now but I was ignored. I felt sweat cold on my skin, my blood pumping though my ears was deafening. It was all too loud. Everyone was too loud. The static was too loud.

I lowered myself to the floor and pulled my knees as close as humanly possible. I covered my ears and screwed up my eyes. I wanted all of it to go away. This was all a bad dream. I was going to wake up and there would be no break in, no murders, nothing. My breathing was now racking sobs. It was too much.
"Taylor... Taylor, you need to calm down, just breath" the pulled myself smaller. I can't take it, I can't do it anymore.
"Taylor look at me" the voice was suddenly angry and I snapped up and to the left. My cheek rippled with pain and my glasses fought off. I touched my cheek gingerly. I have stopped sobbing out of shock mostly. I was trembling. I looked back at the crouched figure. A shock of red and judging by size and voice it was either Fred or George, but for once I wasn't sure who it was. I stared at him with blank eyes, tears still dripped silently down my cheeks.
"Here, spurt, it's ok, you don't have to be afraid" the tone was softer as I was pulled into strong arms. I didn't react at first. I tensed up before accepting the hug and putting my arms around and gripping onto the back of his shirt as if he was the only thing keeping my from being sucked into insanity.

After a while, I had calmed down, still a little shaken. I feel drained, both emotionally and physically.i had found out that it was Fred who had slapped me, none too softly either. My cheek burned a hot fiery red, as all Gryffindors were woken and gathered into the common. Most of the boys and girls dorm had already been woken by Ron's screams and word had already spread about my melt down. Fred and George stood guard beside, making sure no one would ask me what happen to my cheek or in the dorm room. I was grateful for that, I barely had the energy to stand never mind the energy to explain. I clutched stormy who looked over my shoulder. I didn't know why I bought her with me, I wanted to hold something. She didn't struggle in my arms, just purred as I stroked her confronting fur. Professor McGonagall explained best she could with the little information that she had been provided with. We were send but to our rooms and the teachers were awoken to start a man hurt.

I slept that night, exhaustion overriding fear. When my alert woke me next morning I was stiff and hadn't moved at all, however it was fair to say that Everyone in my dorm had large bags under their eyes. Walking down to breakfast word had spread about Sirius Black's break in and Ron was enjoying to the attention, retelling the story so much and adding in his own little details to make it seem more terrifying. Fred and George sat on either side of me making sure I had recovered from my episode with had also spread like wildfire. As we were leaving the great Hall we were confronted my Malfoy, the rumours fuelling his ego, a smug smile plastered on his lips.
"Well, if it isn't the crybaby" he said trying to get my face even though I was at least a head taller than thing 1 and thing 2. Even though I didn't have the muscle as they did, I was smarter.
"I believe you cried for your mummy when you pissed off the big scary hippogriff." I said uses the kind of tone you would you used to speak to a child, using my height to my advantage. I know it was petty but he need a taste of his own medicine. He gritted his teeth.
"Your going to regret this" he growled off and I watched him going, my smug smile fading. They have no idea.

Lessons were drawn out, a remember of how tired I really was. Potions was the waste. Snaps was in a fowl mood and stomped around finding every little thing wrong with anyone's work. Everything from the wrong way to hold a spoon to the incorrect number of times to cut something. No one was safe either Gryffindor or Slytherin. Neville got the worst of it which only made him more nervous making him mess up more. By the time the bell for last lesson ring, I was feeling asleep, that was until Harry came up to me when I was sitting with Neville, Semus and Dean.
"Can we talk after dinner?" He asked. I nodded wondering what was so important. I knew people had secrets, I had many secrets, but when I tried to look all I could see was him talking to me. This meant it was either not a secret or somethings I wasn't looking for. It is almost impossible to find something without looking for it. I sighed.
"Sure where?"
"The large oak by the lake" and with that he walked off, leaving me confused.

I waited for no more than ten minutes by the oak before he showed up. He was alone for what I could tell.
"What did you-"
"Why didn't you tell me about your father" he cut me off. I was surprised uncertain what to say.
"I don't see that is any business of yours" my tone was cold to the point freezing. He seemed taken aback but he was determined.
"How is Sirius Black not my business when he sold out my parents to Voldemort"
"How did you know that" I snapped, "who told you?"
"I over heard teachers talking" he was lying, I could tell that much. It didn't matter how he get it.
"Everyone is allow to have secrets, Harry..." I turned away, "trying to learn them could get you killed one day" I tried to walk away but he grabbed my bare wrist. His teeth were gritted and he had fury in eyes, I saw his future flash in front of my eyes, the pain and suffering to fast to be certain what I sure. I was barely aware of him saying.
"That's rich coming for someone who can see anyone's future" sharp pains run along my brain. I yanked my wrist free. One hand clutching my forehead, stumbling before I went limp and fell to the ground.

I was stranding I front of the whomping willow, it was frozen mid swing at Harry and hermione. I calmly walked pasted, feeling my feet move on there own, as if I was being pulled to something. I let it guide me. There was a small tunnel at the base of the tree, big enough for a person but small enough and at such an angle that you wouldn't be able to see it without being a few feet away. The scene changed. I was inside a tore up house, deep claw marks gouache in every surface. I heard whimpering in the corner, I turned. There was a large adult werewolf with chocolate brown eyes.
"Remus" I called the werewolf snapped his head up. He growled at me and lunged for the kill. I cried out in fright and stumbled into a new setting. I was on the edge of the lake. I couldn't move. Dementors soared above me there hundreds. I was going to have my soul sucked out, I was going to died. Then a warm light blinded me and I woke up.

I was in the hospital wing, even without my glasses I could tell, I had woken up here enough to know that by now. I turned my head when I saw the motion of the curtains and a figure all in black.
"Professor Snape?" I guessed.
"I see your awake" he put down something on the table, "Did you see Sirius Black?" He asked. I shook my head.
"No, but I know where he will show up next, the Shrieking Shack. He isn't there now I don't think but he will. How long was I out?" I asked searching for my glasses, Snape handing them to me.
"A week, I left you notes on what you must catch up on, I suggest you read over will your recovering" I nodded.
"That is very kind of you sir, I shall make sure to take your advantage..." I trailed off into silence.
"Was this a triggered vision or random" he asked.
"Triggered" I answered, "Harry grabbed my bare wrist. His future is a little overwhelming" I smiled meekly. Snape stood up.
"I'll alert Dumbledore and Madam Pomfrey that you are awake, you better rest up. I nodded.
"Thank you sir".

Harry, Ron, Hermione came to visit me. I could tell Harry wanted anything but to be in my presence. Guilt and unsure of what to do.
"I- Um- I am-"
"I am sorry that I did not tell you  about my father. I thought you probably don't want to be friends with the son of a murder" I rubbed the back of my next.
"It's alright" he finally relaxed, "you were right, I should have respected your privacy". I smiled.
"Why don't you guys hug it out and Taylor can tell us what happened in his vision" Ron smiled excitedly earning a slap off the head of the head from hermione. After laughing at the argument that followed, I told them what I saw.
