I had gotten back to my dorm late and everyone was already for bed. My thoughts were still in the conversation Dumbledore and I had. I was to stay close to him in case of something goes wrong then I can give as much fore warning as I can. He took my warning into consideration, however he wanted the games to go on.
"Christ, Taylor, what the bloody hell happened to you" Seamus make me jump out my skin. I realised he had pointed out my scar on my jawline and neck.
"Seamus, that's rude" dean said but I could see he was just as curious.
"Got to close to the whomping willow last year. That was in the hospital wing last year. It looks a bit like claw marks though" I laughed. "Could have been worst if Harry, Ron and Hermione hadn't found me. It was my own fault" I said starting to pull out my robes knowing their eyes still boar into my back.
"Yeah, that tree has some kick to it, I was worry he has already dead" Harry keyed in, Ron following by giving them gory details.
"The branches wiped down and slashed him, tossed him like a rag roll..."
"Can't you get it removed magically." Neville asked who was sitting cross legged trying to keep a hold of His toad. I shook my head, my fingers traced the scar on my chest.
"Since the tree was magic, they can only heal the wound not the scar" I turned to show the claw like scar that could had been the whomping willows branches. "It not like it's a big, everyone has scar, mine is just a little bigger" I smile, dean turned to me then.
"At least your the badass friend now" he laughed and mood lighten considerable and the rest of the night was filled with cheer and summer times pasted.
When I was about to go to sleep, I realised there was a bottle under my pillow. It was a sleep potion, I had taken it enough times to know that but smell and the rosy purple colour. A label said one night dreamless sleep. I smiled knowing professor Snape put it there. He was a kindling man, Wheather he would admit it I would not know. But he cleared of this school and his students. I had hard the rumours of him wanting the dark arts job and he was involved with he who must not be named but I trusted Snape and I trust Dumbledore. I took the draft and for once slept peaceful.
The morning was a slow one, I didn't want to get up, having slept with not so much as a whisper of static. However it was the start of a new year and I had to face the day sooner or later. The story I had sold Semus, had spread around the school like wild fire and Ron was all to keen to share the details of how he saved my life, which now involved my heart stop beating and Ron preforming CPR. I stuck to the story that I got to close to the tree, was wiped by the branches and lost conscious when I hit the ground. Even that didn't stop people wanting to see the full scar which I was not willing to show. By the time I got to the grand hall, I almost ran to Fred and George. Slumping as gracefully one can slump, on the bench in between them.
"We heard your story about the whomping willow from Semus-" George smirked.
"I believe you forgot to tell us that died" Fred and George chuckled.
"Everyone wants to see the full scar, it's very irritating" I snatched a piece of toast and started to pour myself a mug of coffee.
"So, come up with potions that we can use" Fred asked.
"Well the curing part will be the easiest, since there are many potions to cure and all that." I pull Percy's old potion book out my bag and flicking to the index. "Vomiting, nose bleeds, fever, fainting that could be a two for one. You name it there's most likely w cure. The hard part would be to reverse this affects to create the problem to begin with" I said trying not to spray crumbs.
