When Phil was let out of the painful labour, he ran (well, limped) back to Dan's bedroom. He'd had enough of these lies.

'I would never hurt you.' He told Phil.

'I admire your type.' He told Phil.

'I'll protect you.' He told Phil.

All lies.

Dan hurt Phil, hard. The marks that were left on his delicate skin would probably be there for a lifetime. He wouldn't admire someone he'd happily torture, or else he would have declined the whipping and got someone else to do it. Dan never protected him; Phil had no defender, no fighter, no friend. Dan made all of Phil's problems worse, but at least he can focus on his mission again. Ever since Phil developed this bond with Dan, he has forgotten about the thing he came here for: the Black Enigmas.

He doesn't care if he gets exposed anymore, it's not like Dan cares. All Dan was trying to do was lift Phil's spirits up, just so he can let them fall like an organized explosion. Dan knew it was going to happen, but he didn't let Phil think that until it occurred. Phil just feels empty, like a hollow Easter egg that's soon about to melt from the lack of love. He feels...betrayed.

As he walked up the stairs, he wondered 'what am I actually gonna do? What do people do when they're getting revenge?' Phil hasn't experienced many revenges, only riots and fights. Maybe getting revenge is doing what you do best to weaken your opponent?

When Phil got to the door, he took a deep breath. He needs to show Dan that you should never mess with the vice of the Black Enigmas – but Dan doesn't know that. Dan just thinks that Phil is just a normal special with a special friend who were defending themselves, but then failed and were captured. Dan thought that Phil wasn't expecting him to pick him, he thought it was all a surprise to Phil. But it wasn't, it was all planned out – and it went perfectly. But then how did Dan try to persuade Phil to admit that he was part of the Black Enigmas? 'No backing out now, Lester.' The voice in his head stated, which was when Phil turned the handle and a brown-haired boy turned to look at him.

"Oh, hi Phi-" Dan began, but Phil slammed the door shut and raised his fisted hand, grabbing Dan and lifting him into the air. He had trained himself to use his telekinesis powers like this for a while now, and at least he could use them properly. Phil gritted his teeth as he glared at Dan – who was holding onto his neck, trying to breathe but failing.

"Why did you lie to me?" Phil raised his voice, heavily breathing as his face turned a bright colour of crimson – unusual for his normal, pale complexion.

"I-I-I didn't know that he'd whip you like that, I'm s-sorry-" Dan stuttered, not getting his words out quick enough. Phil interrupted him in pure anger.

"No, you whipped me!"

"What?"

"Don't back out of it, Howell. You know what you've done."

"I'm confused! Was this something to do with hard labour? I'm sorry I put you in there-"

"You whipped me! You made me take off my shirt and you whipped me until I confessed – which I will never do by the way!"

"I would never do that to you-"

"But you did! You lied to me once again Dan! And I don't care whether I die or not – I just need to make sure you and your lies come down with me!"

"Phil-"

"No! You're just gonna lie again and you're gonna make me want to cry again, breaking my heart piece by piece!"

"Phil-"

"No! You tried to pull down my walls, making me doubt everything that I thought was true. I was not just upset after that, I was hungry. Hungry for revenge."
