End Message

I'd like to dedicate this book to not only my irl friends, but to those who feel like they might never make it and their dreams will never be achieved. They will, I promise, and I will be still on that journey with you, every step of the way, trying to achieve my own while helping you. If you ever need to talk, just message me, I check wattpad every day, so don't be afraid to ask me.

Also, well done to Phanpyrus for working out that it was Lucas who killed Dan!!! Congrats and well done to anyone who tried :)) now let's get on with the end message...

Well, let's start from the beginning.

NONONO NOT THAT EARLY! FAST FORWARD! FAST FORWARD!

I found Wattpad via a friend, who in homework club was reading 5sos fanfiction. I wanted to join this and read some of these so I joined Wattpad as BlondieGx on the 26th of July 2015.

I was (and still am) a massive 5sos fan and would fangirl over Ashton Irwin's dimples all the time, so I started to read these stories and found out that people felt the same way was amazing!

Then I discovered Dan and Phil.

My friend would talk about them all the time and I thought 'hey, why don't I try watching these guys? I'm probably late for so many things but nvm.' After watching some of their videos, I really enjoyed them and was obsessed. So obsessed all Halloween, I sat indoors and watched their old videos and occasionally answered the door to give out candy (which was rare because we didn't decorate our house so people might've thought we don't really care about Halloween and just want to sleep). Seeing as I used Wattpad quite often, I then made the fatal decision of looking up phanfiction on Wattpad. That decision changed everything.

I'd written several fanfictions that didn't make it to Wattpad, so I tried writing a phanfic based off of the maze runner (and I literally jumped when Dan said in his younow that he liked the Maze Runner, like how ironic).

I had tried writing other fics as well, but none of them seemed to have that pizazz. I never had the motivation to write them and I knew that even I'd never read them.

Then I started reading Rebellion.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and it's probably number 1 on my favourite reads on Wattpad. Vega then opened up a Q&A for people to ask her questions, one of which I asked: 'Would you ever beta someone's book?' She said yes.

At this point of time, I've been in love with Years&Years, and gotten the inspiration to write a fic based off of one of their songs called King (gr8 song btw really recommend it nOTICE ME SENPAIS OLLY MIKEY & EMRE). I messaged her and she taught me so much about writing. She taught me how to use Google Docs, how to improve my writing, and – one that I've used several times – how to improve my kiss scenes. Yes, I've written a story about forbidden love and my kissing scenes need some polishing off. But she encouraged me so much and I'm so grateful for her being my beta. Thank you VegaPancakes .

I remember getting my first ever shout out (from Vega) and my first ever readers. It felt awesome. Knowing that people actually liked your story and want to read more made me want to carry on writing. Thank you CompleteAcedia DunWithYourSht wallabey. I remember my first proper interent friend other than Vega. Jess. I found her through the fic Lacking (I think? Correct me if I'm wrong XD) when her user was angelbeanx and I started reading her book based off of Undertale (which is gone sadly D: ). She read Rebellion as well and we actually read the same stories as well without knowing! She has such a good sense of humour and I love her books so go check her out! Thank you pacifyphil.

How could I do this end message without saying something about my irl friends? Lets start with Lucy, who I found out had wattpad in line for PE. She was actually the person who got me into Phan so you can thank her for this fic being alive and breathing. I don't see her often anymore since she moved schools, but we still keep in contact and have a joint account where we write a book called 'Praying With Amnesia' (#lucyneedstoupdate). Then we have Tamica, who has helped me ever step of the way. Every oneshot I've written, I can guarantee that she's read it. She has just started writing her own Avengers fanfic, so please – for me – give her some love and go read it, even if you aren't a keen fan. Avengers isn't at the top of my fandom list, but I still enjoyed her writing. She is the sweetest girl and is the greatest friend. And we also have Ellie, who isn't as active on Wattpad, but is a massive phangirl. We haven't been friends for that long, but she is so kind and it feels like we've been friends for years[&years]. I am thankful for all three of them to be a part of my life. Thank you xMiniladdx tamicaxoxo hey-itsellie.
