Chapter 17: Hide and go seek

" She is too strong... So be careful.  " Goku warned.

" Why is everybody always passing me? " Vegeta mumbled in frustration.

Vegeta balled up his fist as he started to think about Bulla.

" Don't think about it, Father. Control your anger.. " Trunks advised as he stepped closer to his dad but still cautious.

Vegeta nodded but still ready to charge at Rika at anytime.

Rika started laughing as she began to observe the Z fighters. " Y'all are so weak... I can't believe people was so scared of the legendary Super Sayain... Haha I guess they forgot about us. "

" What is a sacrifice? " Goku asked seriously.

" You mean what you'll be after I capture you and my daughter.... You'll see. Father has great things plan for you. " Rika smiled as she took a step closer.

Everybody took a step back and went into their fighting position.

" Are y'all scared? " she pouted but she was still having fun.

" No, we are just very cautious.. " Vegeta replied.

" Oh, you'll be a good sacrifice too but unluckily we got our hands full... We have a lot of people from different races so your so unlucky. Father needs to get stronger after all. "

" I'll say... " Trunks muttered softly as he eyed Rika.

Rika did look like Kikyo and he knew it will be harder for him to fight her so he didn't know what to do.

" Half human, Half Sayian? Oh how odd.... I don't think we have those. I think we can make a exception for you. " Rika smiled admiring Trunks.

She took a step forward as everybody took a step back but Vegeta.

" Over my dead body! " Vegeta certainly told her begging her to even try.

" OOOO, I think I can make that happen. " she replied getting in her fighting stance.

" I don't understand, why am I talking to me subconscious? " I asked Trunks.

" You are talking to me so you can understand how to control the dragon ball.... You are Shenron.. " Trunks explained.

I looked at him with disbelief. More of like Why you lying. But the face he was making was like he was serious.

" Why me? " I asked trying to understand. 

" You are unknown... The most powerful there is. " He answered.

" Goku is the most powerful there is... Why not him? " I asked Trunks like he had all the answers.

" Shenron chose you to be the vessel. Why you think Shenron always sleep? waiting for you. Shenron finally found you when you made that wish.... You had one of the dragon balls... The four star so Shenron was transferring her energy to you. "

" Her? I thought Shenron was a guy. " I exclaimed.

" Don't make that deep voice mistaking you. " He told me,

" How did you get all this information? " I asked.

" Have you looked inside the dragon balls? " He answered my question.

" Nope! Didn't even think about it.... So did I kill Bulla? " I asked.

Trunks paused as he began to think. " I don't know... Bulla's death is still a mystery. It could be that Shenron and You trying to be one affected one of the wishes and one must have undone. No telling how many undone. " he replied.

I nodded softly understanding. " Alright if Shenron wants me to be her vessel then it shall! "

" It's not like a vessel more like you are Shenron. " Trunks explained clearly.

" Huh? " I asked slowly.

" Shenron and your soul is going to combine like one when the time is right. " Bulla explained. " When that happens you are going to still be you but with more power... And you will have control of the dragon balls.... All the wishes, if shall grant them or not. " Bulla explained.

" That's a lot of responsibility... " I told her.

She nodded softly. " But you can do it though... "

I nodded softly as I closed my eyes. Come to me Shenron. I took a deep breath as my mind went into this tunnel with light at the end.

The light became clear and I see Trunks breathing hard. He was bested down, bloody, and unable to move.

" My father-" he coughed up blood.

" Is now a sacrifice... " Rika smiled, " Just like you. "

" I'll rather die! " he spat blood on her face.

" Very well then! " she said in a devilish way.

I opened my eyes in the real world and heard Trunks calling out to his father.

Vegeta was breathing hard as he looked deadly into Rika's eyes. " Just kill me already! " he frowned as he struggled in  her gripped.

Her grin widen as she stabbed her hand    In Vegeta's stomach. Everybody gasped as Bulma screamed.  Vegeta's eyes widen as he hit the floor.

Trunks closed his fist as he was ready to charge but heard his father say " Trunks, run! "

" Over " Rika walked  over Vegeta. " My dead body! " she smiled deviously.

She looked Trunks and picked up Vegeta. " I'll take him instead of my daughter, but just for you to know I'm not done yet. " she smiled as she disappeared.

Well that's the end for this chapter but don't worry. I wrote Chapter 18 so you'll be reading that!! Now time for the winners
