Jeffory's POV
When Zane saw me he narrowed his eye in suspicion. Then, he slunk into the forest and disappeared.
I sprinted over to Y/n and fell to my knees next to her. Blood flowed freely from the wound in her chest, and she was barely breathing. I didn't know what to do. I wasn't a doctor.
Then, I knew what to do. I bent over and kissed her.
Y/n gasped and sat up. Her e/c eyes fluttered open. She looked up sleepily at me. "Uh, Jeffory...?" She mumbled. I pulled her into my lap. "Shh," I murmured. "Your hurt." Y/n blinked, then began a coughing fit. I didn't care if I got blood on my armor. Y/n was extremely hurt.
I picked her up bridal style and walked back to Phoenix Drop. The Miew'fa woman was at the gates picking flowers when she saw me. She gasped and rushes forward. "Oh, good Irene, what happened!?" She gushed. "She needs help," I said. She nodded and led me into the village.
We brought Y/n up to the treehouse and laid her down on a bed. She was sound asleep. I left the Miew'fa with her and went out to get something to eat. I was starving.
Your POV
When I woke up again I was in the treehouse. The wound in my chest was bandaged and cleaned. I even had a set of new clothes. I felt a lot better, so I got up and went to the window.
It was nighttime, and the moon was lighting up the canopy of the tree. I loved the feeling of the moon. Then I remembered what Zane had done to me. I HATED him now. There was a song that I used to rant to Ivy when I was little and needed to vent, and this seemed like a good time for that.
