Your POV

I woke up for the third time on the bed in the treehouse. I got dressed in a f/c dress with a s/f/c flower in my hair. I slipped on some s/f/c shoes and put my h/c hair up in a braid. I walked down to find Jeffory at the bottom. He gave me a buttered biscuit to eat. I ate it in a few bites and I was licking butter off my fingers when Kawaii~Chan, the Mief'wa woman, came up to us. "Malichi~Sama wanted me to tell you that Aphmau~Senpai is back in Phoenix Drop!" She told us. Jeffory blinked. "Is...Katelyn with her?" Kawaii~Chan nodded and Jeffory inhaled sharply.

"Oh, also, here's some new clothes for you," she said, handing Jeffory a neat little pile of clothes. "Jeffory~Kun's armor is rather....used." Jeffory nodded and went up to the treehouse to change.

Kawaii~Chan left and I waited at the bottom for Jeffory. He came down a few minutes later in a dark minty green shirt with his golden scythe across his back and brown pants. His brown hair was still a bit matted, but in the sunlight his freckles stood out on his dark coppery skin. His light mint-colored eyes sparkled. He looked even handsomer that before.

"C'mon, let's go meet Lady Aphmau," he said. I followed him to middle of the village, where we waited behind a haystack. In the middle, by the well, three people were there. The first was a pretty woman with black hair, dark amber eyes, and copper colored skin. Beside her was a handsome man with strawberry blonde hair and eyes like tiny diamonds. Leading against the well was a beautiful woman with powder blue hair trailing over her shoulder, pale skin, and turquoise eyes. They were talking to each other, and. A few minutes later the blonde man walked away. I took the chance and stepped out of my hiding spot.

The black-haired woman turned around, first wary, then friendly. "Hi! Levin told me we had some new people here." I nodded. "My name's y/n. I came here from O'khasis." She smiled. "Wow, you must be brave! My name's Aphmau, and this is Katelyn."

Oh, snap, I thought. Jeffory's going to frea--

As if my thoughts summoned him, he stepped out from the hay bale. "Katelyn...?" He stammered. Katelyn yelped in surprise. "JEFFORY!?" She yelled. She leaped at Jeffory and tackled him in a hug. I looked back at Aphmau, who was watching in disbelief. "How in the name if Irene...." She mumbled. "He was going to get turned into a Shadow Knight," I whispered. "I helped him escape." Aphmau nodded, but still looked bewildered.

After a tearful reunion, Katelyn had to go do something with Aphmau. I was sitting by the well eating a cupcake Kawaii~Chan had given to me when a ginger-haired woman approached me. "Hey, your Y/n, right?" She asked, and I nodded. "My names Lucinda, and I was wondering if you would like to come to my spa day." I shoved the last of the cupcake in my mouth. "Okay," I mumbled around it. Lucinda nodded. "Come meet me at the well this time tomorrow, 'Kay?" I nodded and she left.

After a while of staring at the sky I went back to the treehouse. By the looks of it, Jeffory wasn't there, but I went over to the music box I had summoned the night before and let it play. It reminded me of Zane, and I remembered guilty that I was the one who let him escape. Eventually I went to sleep, and I woke up the next morning and got ready for Lucinda's spa day.

A/n: Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while I've been SOOOOOOOO busy BUT I'm getting surgery next week so I'll have way too much time on my hands since I can't really do anything. I'm a bit nervous but not a lot. And don't worry, Katelyn isn't going to steal Jeffory. She understands that you love him <3
