1. Dragon Ride

Your POV
I shivered, the feeling of hard, cold stone chilling my bones. I didn't know how I had hidden from my sister for so long. It felt a bit weird, in a way. D/n paced next to me, his d/c scales flashing faintly in the moonlight. I gripped my f/j daggers tightly. I knew the guards would be passing near my hiding spot in a few seconds, so I grabbed the collar I had fastened on D/n's neck and made him fall silent.

"Bruh, did you hear that the most wanted people might be hiding in O'khasis?" one of the passing guards said. "Yeah, Bro, the General is literally turning the whole place upside down looking for them."

The General.
My sister.

My sister was looking for some people. If i was correct, she was tearing up the region looking for them. That means that i could be caught at any time. I whipped around to face D/n. His wings were tense, and the spikes along his spine were bristling. "We have to go," i murmured to him. I climbed onto his back and held fast to the collar. I dug my heels into his sides and he took off.

I had always loved the feeling of flying. I pressed myself low to his back. The wind whistled in my ears. It pulled my hood back, revealing my h/c hair. I could hear distant shouts as we flew higher, but i did my best to ignore them.

I risked a glance behind me to see a group of soldiers chasing after me in the alleyways and the streets. I knew they could never keep up with a dragon.

Suddenly d/n roared loudly, and i whipped around to look forward. D/n almost slammed into the thing slithering into the sky in front of us. I pulled back on his collar, and we jerked back.

The other dragon was metallic gray, the moonlight turning its scales to silver. It's weird red eyes glimmered hungrily. Draped elegantly on its back was my sister.

She was exactly what she had looked like five years ago. Her hot-pink hair was a bit poofier than it had been, but it flowed in the breeze like it did all those years ago when she had tried to kill me. Her eyes, like chips of ice, twinkled with triumph.

"Hello, baby sister," Ivy cooed in her slithery voice.

"Ivy," I snarled. She batted her unnaturally long eyelashes. "Temper, temper, little girl," she said. "You have no idea how LONG i've been looking for you." Without warning, her dragon suddenly blasted a starburst of fire at D/n.

D/n roared in agony and began to drop out of the sky. I was still holding onto the collar, and i tried my best to keep a good grip on it. The wind was tugging at my hands, urging me to let go. D/n crashed into the roof of a house and i was thrown off his back.

When the dust cleared, i saw D/n splayed out on the floor, one of his back legs twisted at an unnatural angle. Blood streamed from countless wounds on his head, neck, and flank.

"No!" i screamed. I crawled over to him and wrapped my arms around his neck, sobbing. Ivy landed gracefully beside me, a satisfied smirk on her face. "Well, well, i wasn't expecting you to survive that." she bent over so that we were almost nose to nose. "Maybe it's because whats inside here." she traced a finger down my neck and stopped over my heart.

"N-No," i sputtered, trying to scoot away. Her dragon landed behind me. I was trapped. "I've been waiting five years to do this. Oh, this will be thrilling!" Ivy exclaimed. She pulled out something from behind her back. It was a hunk of twisted, purple rock that had several pink cracks in it. The cracks seemed to be glowing from the inside.

The dragon suddenly grabbed my shoulders, forcing me to be still. I screamed as Ivy held the rock up to my face. It began to glow with a bright light, and then i was enveloped in it.

When i opened my eyes, i wasn't in the ruins of the O'khasis house anymore. When i looked around, all i could see was dark red brick the color of blood and an ocean of lava that went of as far as the eye could see.

Ivy and sent me to the Nether.
