I whirled around and gasped.
Jeffory was sitting up in bed, rubbing his head and blinking.
"JEFFORY!!!" I screamed, tackling him in a hug. I sobbed happy tears into his shoulder, and he rubbed my back affectionately. "Y/n, what happened?" He asked, wrapping his arms around my waist. "I-Ivy killed you," I said between tears. "Lapis brought you back to Scaleswind and y-you just came back."
Jeffory pulled me away so that we were nose to nose. "I'm glad I'm back," he said, and then he kissed me.

After Jeffory came back, Nicole protected us in Scaleswind. A month after, Aphmau sent word that Phoenix Drop had survived the attack from O'khasis. Me and Jeffory were never apart -- we did everything together. We were too afraid that one of us would die again, like he had. Although we were always fugitives in O'khasis, we were safe and happy in Scaleswind.
Who knows, our adventures might be documented down in history.
I truly hope it does.
Uh...another time skip by Apollo? Because a Percy Jackson book is sitting next to me?
Me and Jeffory were sitting on the docks, watching the sunset. He seemed a bit awkward that night; he kept squirming and looking down at his feet. As the last sliver of sunlight appeared on the horizon, he took my hand and stood me up.
Then, he got down on one knee and took out a small velvet box.
My hands flew to my mouth as he opened it.
Inside was a beautiful silver ring with two emeralds on it.
"Y/n...will you marry me?"
I started bouncing up and down. "YES YES YES YES!!!!!" I yelled, hugging him tight. I watched with joy as he slipped it on my finger.
This has been the story of my life.
This has been the story of my death.
This has been the story of Jeffory.
