After Ash and I fell down playing tag, several times might I add, everyone started to come down the stairs.

Luke was the first to walk down the steps in his sleepy state. He only rolled his eyes when he saw Ashton and I in crumpled heaps on the carpeted ground, giggling uncontrollably. Then he just walked to the table to fix himself a plate, and watched us laugh like maniacs with amusement in his tired eyes.

I smiled goofily up at Luke, and he gently sat his plate down and ran over and swooped me off the floor in a flash. "Oh, no! Ash help!" I screamed, feigning fear. My legs swung wildly in front of Luke, and my hands beat lightly on his back. Laughter shook through his chest only making me giddier.

I loved these guys so much, and I was so thankful for the happiness they gave me. I never knew what best friends I was missing until I met them. They just had this way of making things better, even when things sucked horrifically. Even on that first day I was at their home, being just kidnapped by Niall, they made me feel a lightness that I never wanted to get rid of.

It was silly to think about how scared of them I was back then when they looked and acted like baby pandas. They had smiled and joked with me when I woke up and never once made me doubt that they wouldn't hurt me. They still didn't make me doubt it. I was so, so thankful for them. And they would probably never understand that.

"I'll get you mate!" Ashton screamed heroically, and I heard him barreling behind us. "Lukey, put me down you giant faggot!" I giggled, a huge smile plastered on my face. "That was very rude, Ty," Luke chided playfully. I could just imagine his pierced, goofy smile. "Please?" I tried sweetly, clenching onto his shirt.

"That's a better word choice, but I think I'll just keep you up here," Luke chuckled, tightening his iron grip on me. I gasped as he suddenly jumped onto the furniture, away from Ashton I presumed. My heart stuttered twenty beats in my chest.

Luke jumped over the furniture, and I became very scared that he was going to drop me on my face or that we were going to trip over something and bust both of our faces open. "Lukey!" I squealed at the top of my lungs.

All the sudden I was getting very sick from all these quick movements. How he wasn't tired of carrying me like this yet was beyond me. Tingles ran up my spine, the kind I get when only one person is around and looking at me.

It had to be Niall.

Luke suddenly stopped, and Ashton ran straight into him and fell on his butt. "Ouch. My ass," Ash whispered. I smiled down at him amusedly, still swinging from Luke's back. Ash looked up at me with wide, hazel eyes, faking shock hurtfulness. I waved my fingers at him tauntingly, fighting back a devilish smile.

Luke sat me down on my feet, and when I turned around Niall was revealed to me. His hair was very dishelved, and dark bags were under his eyes. But somehow he still looked.. undeniably Happy? That was weird, I was sure he was mad that I was on Luke's back moments before.

In one moment, a huge grin split across Niall's  face as he took off towards me. He wrapped his arms around my hips, and hauled me up onto his broad shoulder. "Niall!" I giggled, completely surprised at his playful behavior. My hands fell down his back as I wrapped my arms around his back for dear life.

Let me tell you, though, my view was great from here.

Niall took off towards the door, opened it, and sat me down on the outside porch. My eyebrows furrowed as I heard the lock click. I scooted up to the door and knocked on it tentatively. "Ni?" I questioned confusedly, wondering what kind of game this man was playing.

"Password," he demanded, a smirk in his voice.

I rolled my eyes, and mimicked the knocks on the Frozen song. "Do you wanna build a snowman?" I sang lightly, my words floating through the dusty wood. The door unlocked and swung open to reveal a smug looking Niall.
