A new family (on hold)

The name game.

"Britney Michelle Reagan." Jamie said. "Great. I'll bring you the birth certificate." The nurse smiled and went out of the room. 

Not long after the family was debating the name in the waiting room. "No way. They said they liked Amanda." Danny insisted. "True, but they also liked Savara." Nicky said to her uncle. "What kind if name is Savara?" Henry asked. "Exactly." Danny said and Nicky rolled her eyes.  "It's a name from the twenty first century, grandpa." Erin joked. "Why does this family always do this?" Frank asked aloud. "What do you mean, dad? " Erin asked,looking at her father. "Pop did it when Danny was born, Danny did it when you were born, both of you did it when joe was born, everyone did it when Jamie was born. We did it when Nicky was born, and jack,and Sean, and Amy. Now we're doing it with  little baby no-name." Frank explained, and he smiled when he said the last sentence.  That got a laugh from everyone in the family. 

"You think I should keep it from them any longer?" Jamie whispered so he wouldn't wake the tiny,sleeping baby. "They'll go crazy, and you know it." Eddie smiled. "Okay, I'll be back." He said and walked out the door.

"Finally." Nicky muttered when she saw her uncle walking down the hall. The family remained seated this time. "You wanna know?" Jamie smiled. "Yes." Said the family in unison. "You really wanna know?" He asked. "Yes." Came the synchronised sound of the reagan family voices. "You sure?" He asked,loving the annoyed looks he got in return. "Okay, I let you see  your kid, now I'll kill you if you don't cough up the name!" Danny remarked getting laughs from his family. "Britney Michelle Reagan" Jamie announced happily. In a nutshell, the family loved the name. 

Jamie looked at his growing family before the nurse took Britney to the nursery. To him, it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen In his life.
