(Arthur's POV)
The 4 Lords lunged at all of us, Jade coming for me, Bricksha, and Michael. She dove for Michael and hit him through the chest, killing him instantly.
"Michael!" Shouted Bricksha, before turning angrily to Jade and thrusting his sword at her. She dodged and gracefully landed behind him, pulling our her own Ruby sword and swinging it at him. I used Chrysos to block her attack and then swung the second axe at her head. She moved back and her arm got cut doing so.
"Gah! Dam human, you'll pay for that!" She lunges at me, sword swinging violently. I used one axe to block her attack, while Bricksha jumped behind her and swung his sword down. She moved her body and head to the right, Bricksha's blade slicing where she should have been a second ago. She jumped back, staggering me and wiped around a leg which caught me in the jaw. The kick sent me rolling on the ground. The world was spinning and I could only faintly hear the sounds of weapons on weapons.
"Arthur, get up now," commanded Chrysos. I grunted and stood up slowly, my jaw still aching from Jades kick. Bricksha was swinging his sword at Jade's head, but she ducked and pushed her sword forward towards his stomach. He jumped back and blocked the shot. I saw him motion for me to finish her, so I ran at her, axes flying. But before I reached her, she began to glow and out of nowhere came her monster. Jade's monster was a monster known as a Hell hound, a dog like creature with three heads, and black, fire fur. It was the about 5 feet tall, all three heads snapping in our direction.
"Attack and kill Hell hound," Jade ordered the beast. It hungerly obeyed and ran at us. Bricksha swung his sword at the beast, missing only by a hair, while I aimed for it's eyes and face. The creature swiped it's huge claws at us, the heat from it's fur was almost too much. It yelped in pain as Bricksha managed to get a hit on it's back leg. I took this opportunity to swing at it's eyes. It yelped again when I hit one of it's eyes. The creatures focus was now souly on me. Growling loudly, it pounced on my, pinning me to the ground. Its paws burned into my shoulders and it's claws sank deeper into my body. I was able to use my axes to block it's three heads from ripping into me, but the pain was still unbearable. I yelled in pain, my world slowly starting to go black and the sounds of battle fading away. Then images of my past flashed before my eyes.
My family dieing on the front lines.
My adopted parents taking me to a lab.
Getting Chrysos.
Training and moving up through the ranks.
Meeting my team.
Meeting Claire and having a feeling of hope.
Defeating that fortress.
Getting rid of the sickness.
Coming here.
The final image flashed in my mind, a memory still fresh in my happiest memories.

Flashback
"Hurry up Zane and get over here," yelled Lily, fixing her long blonde hair. Zane ran over to us, fixing his shirt before standing next to Claire on my right. Lily stood to my left, Peter beside her. Sadie was kneeling in front of me.
"Ready?" Said the camera man.
"Yea!" We all yelled and gave a big smile.
"Ok. 3, 2, 1." The camera man snapped the photo. He looked at it and nodded, giving me the photo. I looked at it and felt complete happiness.

End Flashback
The pain was suddenly lifted off me and I slowly sat up. Bricksha was fighting Jade, which got the Hell hounds attention, causing it to forget me and go help it's master. I tried to get up but the pain was too much. Then I got an idea.
Chrysos, lend me your power. Let me become a full Slayer.
"As you command Arthur," said Chrysos happily before a rush of power and energy came. I felt the mark on my face etch itself on, and I stood, wounds healing themselves,my axes growing bigger too. Now, filled with Chrysos's energy and my own rage, I ran at the Hell hound and before it had time to react, I cut all three heads off in one swipe. Jade screamed and fell to the ground in pain, still blocking Bricksha's attack somehow. And with one more burst of energy, I threw one of my axes at Jade, cutting her head clean off. Bricksha fell to his knees and breathed heavily. The axe flew back to me, and I caught it with ease. Then Chrysos's energy drained from my body and left me tired and sore. I stiffly walked to Bricksha and helped him over to a pillar, where we both sat down, somewhat hidden until we could regain our energy.
"Nice...... Work Arhtur," Bricksha managed to breath out. I nodded, the image of the picture still in my mind.
"Now.... We wait.... For the others...... To finish their parts." He got out before closing his eyes and trying to slow his breath down. I looked over to Claire and Sadie, who were both fighting Haze. Sadie was bleeding heavily from a giant gash in her right side and Claire looked enraged. Then Haze managed to throw Sadie into a wall and pin Claire on the ground. Then before I could do anything, with a flash of blinding white light, Claire was gone and in her place, stood a boy with white hair and forest green eyes. He growled at Haze and then grew black bat-like wings. He pulled out Claire's sword and threw himself at Haze, in a fit of pure fury.
Is that.... Erebus?
