Ch. 10

Chapter 9- Where is she?

I got up from on of the guest room beds. It wasn't as comfortable compared to my usual bed, but it was fine.

I regretted me and Nova's fight. She had some serious anger issues.
I mean she cusses more than a old man does when he's irritated. And they can have filthy mouths.

I rose from the bed and headed over to our room for a bath. When I got there the door was slightly open. I opened It completely and was horrified of what I saw.

How could one lady make such as mess in one night. And the walls were needing care for she had punched at least three holes in the wall.

I went over to the bathroom but it was empty. I started to panic, where was she. I ran down stair everywhere but couldn't find her.

I was helpless and she was no where near around well at least not in the house.

The only thing I could think of was to send my trackers out to find her. I mind linked my Gamma,  Jackson but he said she hasn't seen her all week.

I linked my Beta he said the same. I was frustrated. I linked every person in this pack to go find her and bring her to me.. I ran outside and shifted into my wolf.

An black wolf with red tips on my ear, and my tail. I ran into the woods to find her.

Maxwell: It's your fault she's gone.

Me: Shut the hell up Maxwell.

Maxwell~No if it wasn't for you and you big a!s mouth she wouldn't be gone she would have been cuddling up in our arms and we would have woke up to a wonderful and beautiful woman in our arms waiting for a morning kiss. ' He whimpered

Me~ don't you think I know that. I want that to pal.

Maxwell~Well then come on we have to find her.

I stuck my nose in the air and found a scent close to her's. It took me east way of my packs land. I ran in that direction.

When I got there I was in front of a cave hole entrance, and whimpers were loud coming out of it. I climbed in and found a girl there I walked over slowly and nudged her head.

Her head fell back to look at me. Then realized this girl was Nova, my Mate. Her scent was covered in poison berry smell.

Her face was flushed in red, and there was bruising an red and Purple spot over there. I panicked. I shifted pack into human form and picked her up on my back.

I climbed out of the cave and ran back to the pack clinic. Her now in my arms bridal style.

"It's going to to be okay Nova your going to be okay."

She groaned in pain.

To be honest I don't believe myself, either.

I busted in the clinic.

"Where's the Theta  Nova's on the verge of dyeing here and need help." I yelled.

The nurses took her from my hand and put her on the bed and rolled her into another room.

The doctor ran in frantic and asked the nurse what room. When he found out he ran into the room and told me to wait outside. I argued a bit but knowing it will keep Nova safe I stay out side in the waiting room.

The doctor came in. He said I could come in and see her. She was on the bed her face still kinda of red but a lighter color. Her body was less bruised but it it was less of them.

I sat in the chair just looking at how my baby was on the verge of dyeing.

The doctor came in his face depressed. I knew that was a bad sign she was going to die.

"Alpha, Nova is terribly sick. She has a life line disease."

"And what is it?"

"She has............
