I was always reminded of him through Shade. But, I came to realize that that was a good thing.

I ended up working for Mare as an advisor. I was one of the first to reach out to her. She cried when I told her the news, but I feel that she expected it. Gisa is the most amazing person I know, she helped me get through so much. I stayed in touch with my father too, and over time, we bonded. Although Cal and I never spoke after Mare saved him, he was disowned by everyone on the island that day, and almost everyone never forgave him.

I have two key people in my life that I lost, that was always the reason I never reached out to anyone else, I could never withstand the heartbreak that comes along with losing a loved one. But, I enjoyed my life.
