I flicked through the dresses in my closet and sighed. Why do I not have anything nice to wear? I sat on my bed and sighed again in frustration.
I looked at my door and saw Trent standing there smiling. Wait, he hardly ever smiles. What's got him in a good mood?
"Hey, what's up?" I asked, crossing my legs underneath me.
"Nothing. I just wanted to see you before you left for the party" Trent smiled and entered my room.
"Well in that case, can you please help me pick out an outfit?" I asked sweetly.
"Sure" he smiled. I squealed a little and jumped up. I ran to my closet and waited for Trent to join me.
"Okay, which dress should I wear?" I asked, holding up two dresses. One was black with a light brown belt and the other was a white dress with a flower pattern fabric over the top.
Trent studied both of them for a minute. He would look at one and than the other. "I honestly think you should wear..." he paused for a moment, "The white one" he smiled.
I put the black one away and looked at the white one. This dress is quite nice. I turned around and hugged Trent. "Thankyou Trenty!" I smiled.
"That's okay. I've realised that I haven't been there for you recently and I'm really sorry" he said into my neck.
"That's okay, I completely understand" I smiled and pulled away.
"Now, go get changed. And have fun at the party" Trent smiled and headed for the door.
"Trent" I called out. He turned around and looked at me.
"Thank you again for helping me" I smiled. He chuckled to himself and smiled.
"Thats okay" he smiled and left the room.
I grabbed the dress and a pair of flats, and walked into the bathroom. I had a quick shower and got out. I dried myself and then pulled my dress on. I curled my hair, letting it fall down my back, reaching just above my waist. I left the bathroom and stood in front of my wall length mirror and studied myself.
I heard a knock at my door and my head spun around. It slowly opened and mum popped her head in. "It's time to go honey. Are you ready?" mum asked.
"Yep, I'm ready" I smiled as I grabbed a small handbag and threw my phone in there.
I followed mum downstairs, and said a quick goodbye to Trent, before going out to the car and hoping into the front seat.
Soon enough we pull up out the front of some randoms house that I don't even know, It's just the address Chantelle gave me.
"Now Britt, i want you to behave yourself. Is that understood?" mum says sternly.
I chuckle, "Mum, you can trust me" I smile.
Mum breaks out into a smile, "I know I can. Now go and have fun. Text me when you're ready to come home".
I nod my head, "Sure thing" i smile and kiss mums cheek before opening the door and getting out. I shut the door behind me. I wave goodbye to mum and began walking up the driveway. I looked up and saw Chantelle waiting for me out the front.
"Hey!" I squealed running up to her.
"Hey Britt!" Chantelle smiled as I reached her. I pulled her in for a hug.
"Are you ready to party?" she asked as we pulled away.
"Hell yeah" I smiled.
"That's good. Now come on, lets get inside" she chuckled.
