The bell rang for the end of last period. It's Friday afternoon and I've decided to stay back and study abit. I was copying down some notes when I heard someone walk into the classroom. I thought it might have been Jayden because I was texting him earlier and I thought maybe he was coming to take me home, but it turns out that it's not him.

"What are you doing here Kira?" I asked looking up from my book.

Kira slowly walked up to my desk and pulled a chair out and sat down. "I came here to talk to you".

"What about?" I asked confused. I have no idea why she would want to talk to me.

"Jayden" was all she said.

I rolled my eyes and began packing up my things. "There's nothing to talk about Kira".

"Oh but there is Brittney. You don't know him like I do" she replied standing up to stop me from leaving.

I folded my arms over my chest and looked at her intently. What does she want from me? Like seriously. "If youre here to tell me that you plan on getting Jayden back, I really don't care".

She laughed half heartily and looked me up and down. "You don't seriously think he won't do what he did to me, to you?" she laughed sarcastically, "You really don't know him".

"What do you want from me? I can't change how Jayden feels towards me. I can't, okay?" im seriously starting to get frustrated with her now.

"Puh-lease Brittney. Jayden is one of those guys who will stay with a girl for awhile and then when some other pretty girl comes along he will fall for her. He'll only leave you broken hearted. You'll be left in the shadows, watching as he loves another girl like you ment nothing to him" she explained.

I shook my head, "No Kira. You're wrong".

"Am I? Because last time I checked, that's exactly what happened to me. Now, he doesn't even give a second look my way in the halls. It's like I ment nothing to him" she said folding her arms over her chest.

"What makes you think he hasn't changed?" I asked fiddling with my fingers. I can't handle this pressure. It's all way too much.

"Because I know Jayden, and I know he won't change. Because that's just who he is" she shrugged.

I shook my head and put my head in my hands. This can't be happening. Why did Kira have to say that to me? Now I have massive doubts as to if Jayden will stay faithful to me or if he'll chase after the next pretty girl that he sees. Oh stop it Britt, you're over exaggerating. Kira is just trying to stir you up, don't listen to her.

"Kira please, why can't you just be happy for Jayden?".

"Because I don't want to see you get hurt".

"Please! You don't care about me, why should you? When I practically stole him away from you" I said looking at her. You could see the hurt in her eyes, but she's learnt how to hide it away from the rest of the world.

"You're right, I shouldnt care about you, but I do. Just think about it, okay?" she pleaded.

I nodded my head slowly?, "Sure, I can do that".

I pushed pass her and left the school. Why did she have to put all those thoughts in my head. It's driving me insane already! I need to clear my head and think. Would Jayden actually do that to me? Well he did it to Kira, so who knows? Maybe I should put some distance between us, just for a few days anyway.

I was kicking a rock along the footpath as I walked. I was walking down Jaydens street as always. I decided to ditch the rock and walk home quickly.
