Oh my god. I'm so nervous about this date tonight. I've never been on one before so I'm totally freaking out.
It's 10am and I've got Teesha and Chantelle on Skype helping me choose an outfit for tonight.
"Okay girls, how about this?" I asked holding up a black dress.
They both pulled a face that said 'Ew, are you serious? You own a dress like that?'.
"Yeah you're right, it's not good enough" I say chucking it on the pile of clothes that aren't good enough, which seems to be most of my wardrobe.
"Do you have anything cute, but yet, still appropriate to wear on a date?" Chantelle asked curiously.
I flicked through my clothes and sighed in frustration, "No, I don't".
I sat on my bed and put my head in my hands. This is useless, I thought to myself. I have nothing nice to wear, and it sucks.
"Britt!" Teesh said breaking me from almost having a melt down."Whats that blue thing sticking out between those clothes?" she said pointing towards my wardrobe.
I stood up and pulled out a light blue high waisted skirt. I actually really like this skirt. But I haven't worn it in such a long time.
"This?" I asked holding up the skirt.
The girls looked at each other and started squealing.
"That's it! That's the one!" Teesha exclaimed.
I looked it out and smiled, "This would look great with a black singlet".
"Youre going to look so beautiful Britt!" Chantelle cooed.
I looked down at my watch and realized I only have 1 hour until Jayden gets here.
"Thankyou do much for your help girls! But I've got to go. Jayden will be here soon" I smiled and walked over to my laptop.
"That's okay Britt. Just remember that we want full details on how the night goes" Teesha smiled and Chantelle nodded her head in agreement.
I laughed to myself, "Okay, I can do that. Byee!" I smiled and waved at the screen.
The girls waved goodbye back and I pressed the 'End Call' button. I closer the lid of my laptop and walked back over to my outfit for tonight. I hope it looks alright and doesn't make me seem like I've dressed down for the occasion.
I grabbed my clothes and walked into my ensuit to have a quick shower. I got in and washed my hair. I washed my body and then quickly got out. I dried myself and wrapped a towel around my body and then i wrapped my hair up in a seperate towel.
I walked back out into my bedroom and got dressed in the black singlet and light blue high waisted skirt that I picked out before.
I took my hair out of the towel and sat down in front of my mirror. I blow dried my hair and brushed it. I sat there staring at myself- wondering how I could do my hair. I decided on curling it and plaiting my fringe to the side, then I decided to put little flowers through the plaite. After I'd finished my hair, I put some masara and eye liner on, followed by a little bit of lip gloss.
I grabbed my black flats from the bottom of my wardrobe and slipped them on. I walked over to my full lenght mirror and inspected how I looked. I shrugged and walked over to my wardrobe. I pulled out a small side bag and threw my wallet and phone in there.
I checked the time on my watch and it's almost 6pm. I rushed downstairs and sat in the lounge room with mum. I filled mum in last night about everything that's happened between Jayden and I. She completely understands and she's happy that I'm happy.
