Raylea
Being lost in unbelievable and endless amount of warmth should, from now on, be my way of life. The soft and cosy feeling surrounds me, causing a small smile to come across my lips. I don't feel controlled by fear or anger. My worries that seemed to consume me moments ago has evaporated, taking away the stress and memories of it.It's as though I'm in a daze. A murky zone where I have no idea what's going on.
That's the way I like it.
Then I realize I'm in the process of waking up.
My body feels incredibly lazy, like I'm turned into a huge slug. I don't want to move nor do I want to open my eyes. Can I just pretend I don't have to get up and instead, go back to bed? That seems like a good plan.
But the world doesn't want to make my dreams a reality. A fierce roar erupts out of nowhere instantly making me sit up and open my eyes. I stare at a large glass window that displays a beautiful large enchanted garden. Gorgeous rose bushes of white paints the ground, making it appear as snow. Vines of some sort of blue and purple flowers rise against the glass window to both my sides, making it appear as though there is no window.
Yet that's not what made my heart skip a beat.
It wasn't the large pool either.
Or the super comfy patio set that stood on a glass floor island in the center of the pool.
It wasn't even the treehouse that stood high up in a far away oak tree.
What made my eyes widen even more and make me catch my breath was the light brown gigantic lycan that stood tall at the very end of the garden. It's height was massive while its colour was mesmerizing. It had many shades from light brown to even blond. I guess you could even say it's fur is more of a dirty blond colour.
But what stands out the most is its eyes. A beautiful hazel that can be seen from where I am sitting.
Why?
Because it's looking right at me with a look that clearly states I'm its next meal.
Hence why I am beginning to feel scared.
I see the large creature bend down before it yells out one more roar and charges in my direction. I instantly scream at the top of my lungs. What should I do? Should I run but where? It took me a while to find this room so how am I supossed to run away from the lycan when I have no idea where I'm going?
There's no point in running aways since I'm frozen on the spot. I just continue to scream and stare as the lycan is now only five meters away. It's going to jump. It's going to jump through the window, shattering all the glass, and kill me.
What occures next, happens so fast that in my eyes, it feels like I was watching multiple snap shots. I see the brown lycan jump at the window with it's hazel eyes planted on me. Then, I hear an even louder roar behind me before I see a blur to my left and a figure jump at the window.
The sound of glass breaking into tiny pieces slices through my ear drums. I quickly cover my ears and shut my eyes, awaiting for the pain to hit but nothing, not even a spec touches me. I reopen my eyes and am shocked to see some sort of light blue barrier in front of me, blocking me from the glass.
Passed the barrier, I see the brown wolf on the ground, struggling to get up but something is preventing it. I squint my eyes to focus on the figure holding down the enormous wolf and I nearly scream again.
Vex
He is using his arms to pin down the brown wolf as he shouts in his ears but I'm too much in a trance to comprend what he is yelling. How can Vex take down a creature four times his size? I know as a Lycan, he is strong but this? I don't know what to think or feel. Should I feel grateful that he saved my life or scared that he might hurt me next?
