      a bomb. finn's bright idea was to blow up the bridge that lead from our camp to theirs. the same bridge that clarke had met anya, the trikru's leader, on. finn had left to share his idea with bellamy and raven, leaving octavia and murphy to aid the ill in the drop ship.

       "drink this." murphy says as he sits next to kodie on the floor.

       "thanks." she responds, barely audible, as she takes the cup and sips the water.

       "thank you for defending my honour." he smiles at her. "i'd probably kiss you if you were feeling good."

       "smooth." kodie laughs weakly.

       "i try, you know?"

       kodie licks the blood from her lips and sips her drink again. "you're gonna be okay. i'm gonna make sure you stay here even after all this is over."

       "let me try to save you for once, yeah?" murphy smirks. "you try to save me all the time."

       "gotta keep my trash prince safe." she leans her head on his shoulder.

       "grounder princess is going soft." he responds.

       "i need a new name." she states. "apparently the leader of trikru is grounder princess."

       murphy shrugs and kodie's head followed his movements. "you're my grounder princess."

       "that was so cheesy." kodie laughs lightly.

       "how're you feeling?" he asks.

       "a little better." she sits up straighter. "i guess it really does pass through." she began playing with her fingers and shook her head. "i really thought i was going to die."

       "i wouldn't allow that." he states.

       kodie gives him a small smile, "things happen."

       "what's it been like here since i was gone?" he asks.

       the brunette girl sips her water. "people are getting better at fighting. we have guns and ammo. i sprained my ankle. the usual."

       "nice." he chuckles. "are you okay now?"

       she smirks, "ask me again when i'm not coughing up blood."

       "oh my god," octavia said loudly, catching kodie and murphy's attention. bellamy was brought in by two guys with blood dripping from his nose.

       "i better help with everyone else." murphy pursed his lips. he patted kodie's knee before getting up and heading off to another area to bring others water.

       "clear a spot for him!" octavia orders and two sick people move over to allow the boys that brought bellamy in to place him on the floor. octavia sat next to him and held a rag to his nose. "hey, big brother." she gave him a sad smile.

       kodie's attention was focused on the blake sibling's conversation and she was extremely startled at bellamy's response.

       "i'm scared."

       octavia grabbed his hand. "i won't let anything happen to you, i promise."

       a faint smile formed on bellamy's face. "i said that to you the day you were born."
