Chapter 12: Tristen Reid (E)ven

After they finished breakfast they both decided they should go back to the hospital.

Since Anna couldn't see Bunny she was going to ask Wyatt how she was doing.

When they got there after a while Anna jumped out the car and ran inside.

Wyatt was asleep in the waiting room.

Anna and Max walked over to him and Anna shook him vigorously. 

"How is Bunny?" She asked as soon as his eyes opened a bit.

He grumbled and then scrunched his face as he stretched.

"Is she doing okay?" Anna asked, getting impatient.

He sat up in his seat and rubbed the back of his neck. "She was in a lot of pain, so the docs have her doped up." 

"Why are you here?" Anna asked him.

He grimaced, as he stretched again.

"Needles make me squirmish, I came out here for a little bit while they did tests but I must've fell asleep."

Anna's face was serious.

"No, I mean what are doing here? Why are you still here, you already talked to the detectives and gave them your statement." Anna spoke bluntly. "Are you guilty of something? Are you still here to make sure she doesn't talk?"

He was astounded.

"Well, you know what? I like Bunny. She's the sweetest, cutest girl I have ever met. So when I'm here keeping her company and staying up all night with her cause her mom has to work and you come here and fucking accuse me of shit that pisses me off! I don't need that. I'm trying to help, that's all! I would never hurt her, I'm not guilty of anything! Okay? So shut your face and keep your fucking thoughts to yourself."

Anna stood there surprised, her jaw dropped.

"I'm-I'm sorry. I-"

"Hey don't talk to her like that!" Max said angrily, stepping in front of her and looking at Wyatt threateningly.

Wyatt didn't look scared, he just shook his head.

"I really don't want to fight." Wyatt said. "I wasn't trying to cause any problems I'm just always stereo typed to be the stupid jock! It's not who I am."

Max and Wyatt stared at each other and Anna stepped in between them and looked at them both.

"Hey, Max it's okay. I deserved it." Anna said looking into Max's eyes. "I shouldn't have accused him of anything."
