Alice's POV

Alice stretched and rolled over. She felt Williams body curled around her. She smiled as she had a wicked thought. I wonder what would happen if I...

Alice put her arms out in front of her and pushed. Will rolled off the bed and she smiled thinking she had caught him off guard but at the last minute he grabbed her and took her with him. Alice squealed,"Will, no! Will what are you doing?! I'm gonna break something!"

William rolled his eyes,"Like I'd ever let you get hurt playing with me." Then they were falling through the air and William had flipped their position so he was on the bottom and would absorb the impact of the fall. William hit the floor with a loud thud. Alice collapsed onto his chest, shaking with adrenaline and laughter. "That was awesome! You just defied gravity! Best boyfriend ever!" Alice covered her mouth, blushing. William looked at her, deadpan, like this wasn't news, like she wasn't on top of him, like she couldn't just sit up, bend down and kiss him. He spoke calmly,"I know you're excited. Adrenaline is coursing through your veins. You may not be thinking clearly. Being the gentleman I am I'm going to ask you if you want to take back that statement. Alice, do you want me to pretend you never said that?"

Alice sat up and stared at William. Just stared. She didn't move, barely breathed, couldn't think. His beautiful face! How could she possibly tell that face no?! He was so...good. She knew that she was supposed to be scared of him because he was a vampire but she wasn't. She'd stared out her window thousands of times, waiting for the love of her life to throw rocks at her window. She'd probably been staring at him then, just like now. She looked at him again, trying to look for his driving force. His eyes were clouded with uncertainty. She whispered,"What's your driving force Will?"

Will answered with absolute certainty," You."

The certainty of his answer sent shocks of pleasure through her body, reaching every part of her. She bent down and kissed him, softly at first but then with a deeper hunger. William moaned and flipped her onto her back. Alice gasped, surprised by his eagerness. William pulled back to look at her. "Am I yours?" Alices' answer came out between heavy breaths,"I....thought I....made that...clear....with the...kiss. Now Will, be a good boyfriend and kiss me would you?" Will smiled,"I'd do more if we weren't in a hospital." As if to emphasize his point his hands slid seductively over her hips before kissing her hungrily. Alice was melting into a puddle as his lips made her veins catch fire. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and slid her tongue into his mouth. He tasted so good, like warm chocolate and strawberries and...a hint of iron? Just ignore the iron. Focus on Will. Will pulled back, sitting on his knees. He picked her up and sat her in his lap, kissing her shoulder. He mumbled,"You taste good." Alice whispered,"Now you tell me and here I thought I tasted like dirt." William laughed, loud and deep and echoing. Tears were in his eyes by the time he stopped. Alice looked at him quizzically,"What's funny? Do I actually taste like dirt?" William stopped laughing,"No! No baby no. I promise you, you don't. You taste-keep in mind that I can't bite you to taste your blood-but you taste like salt, raindrops on my tongue. You are the best thing I've ever tasted. And to think I've only tasted you in the human way." He looked at her, a mischievous smile on his lips. Alice shivered with anticipation. "If you're gonna bite me please...just do it. I won't ask you to be gentle just...stop teasing me." William grabbed her wrist and rested his lips on her pulse. Then without growing his fangs, he gently nibbled. The hand that was still on Williams neck gripped him tightly. Damn he was good. He lifted his head slightly and looked at her. "Am I yours? Say it."

Alice felt herself melting under his gaze. She touched his cheek and said,"I am yours. You are mine. If you ever touch another woman this way...or any way, I will rip you apart."

Williams' eyes widened. "Alice I-I would never. I'm yours. I..."

Alice whispered,"I know. Me too. . But I'm not gonna say it officially until the third date. That's usually when people do...other things but it's when I'll say it. C'mon let's go sign the discharge papers so I can go home." With that Alice disentangled herself from Will and walked out of the room, smiling and sashaying her hips.

Will sat on the floor for a second after she left, trying to recover his composure and then running after her.
