The events in this story mostly take place in Los Angeles, U.S.A, and follows a typical college intake, which starts in August.
Most of the characters are multilingual, with the Koreans able to speak English to a rather decent degree. (Jackson's also fluent in Mandarin, obviously.)
About the language used in conversations between characters, most of the time it's in Korean. If there's a bracket around the sentence, then it's in another language. This is as follows:

Text conversations will be included from time to time in the form of KakaoTalk (KK) convos, mostly 1-to-1 chats (with the exception of one or two group chats)
Plot goes by six sections, which will be revealed later.
Another important aspect is that everyone in this fanfic are their current ages in 2016, except EXO members Chanyeol and Baekhyun, whom I have both made them the same age as Hoseok when they should by right be Seokjin's age.
WARNING: This story is filled with lame pick up lines, cringe worthy moments, attempts at humor, implied sexual content (strictly hinted at only), cursing, slight angst (towards the back), sexual jokes etc. BUT NO SMUT SCENES.
