A week has passed since the encounter at the park. I've been avoiding professor Cavalli ever since but having my first class with her isn't helping at all.

Right now I'm sitting in class planning how to get out of her class without her noticing but that would be impossible. 5 minutes before the bell rings. I was hoping that time would come fast enough.

Finally, the bell rang. I raced through the door to get out of her sight but no such luck.

"Ms. Collison stay after class. We have some things to discuss." Well shit! I went to the farthest seat away from her but she ushered me to come closer. "Kate, I can't help but notice that you're distracted lately." Ahh yes, distracted by your beauty. But I can't say that out loud now, can I? "Mind telling me why, Ms. Collison."

"I-I just... Umm I guess its just homesickness. There's nothing to worry about." I lied and pulled off my best smile to make it a little believable. She sighed and put her hand on top of mine. I can feel my breath hitching in my throat. Why does she make me feel this way? Gosh Kate! Stop thinking about her. I scolded myself mentally.

"Kate, always remember I'm always here if you need someone to talk to." I just nodded and she took her hand off mine.

"I guess I should just go. Don't wanna be late for my next class." She nodded and I stood up from my seat. As I was walking out she called me.

"I knew you were there Kate. Don't bother lying to me." I stared back at her and she just smirked. How I wanted to slap that smirk off her face. I became nervous all of a sudden and decided to just run off. Away from her.

She knew. She knew I was there that night. What am I gonna do?
