Chapter 7

I woke up with Elizabeth's arms wrapped around me. I snuggled closer feeling the comfort of her close to me. She pulled me closer.

"Goodmorning Kate." She kissed my shoulders. Well things have escalated quickly overnight. She got up. "I'll be in the kitchen. Go take a shower. There are towels in the bottom cabinet."

I nodded. I took my clothes off the floor and ran for the bathroom. A long hot shower would do.

I got to the kitchen after my shower arriving to Elizabeth drinking coffee, I think.

"Here. Go eat your breakfast and I'll take you back to your dorm."

I ate my breakfast quickly. She led me out of her apartment and to her car. A black 2017 Audi r8. This girl has fortunes!

"You own an Audi?" She smirked at my question.

"Get in" she commanded. I got in and damn this car is luxurious.

"Elizabeth? I have a couple questions." She nodded for me to continue. "How can you afford this car and that apartment? I mean like you're only a college professor and you own fortunes." She laughed.

"My family's fortune was handed down to me. It was in their will. Every cent and penny under their name is now mine."

"One more question, what are you?"

She stopped the car and looked at me. "Kate, I wouldn't be able to answer that question now. I'll tell you everything when we'll be alone next time." I just realized we already arrived at my dorm. "Want me to walk you to your dorm room?"

"No. I can handle it." I got out of the car to escape the awkward silence between us.

"Kate, just remember, don't trust anyone around here." And then she left. I didn't really know what she meant by that.

I went inside my dorm room to get ready for the next day. Tomorrow's sunday. Maybe I can roam around Rome now that I finally got the time.
