Deyana's POV
Kate's excitement made me happy. I was glad that even though breakfast didn't go exactly as planned, she still agreed to train with me.
"I'm gonna go easy on you." I looked at her and she smiled.
I led her to the weaponry. We had everything in here. From swords to heavy guns to stakes to bow and arrow. Anything that could kill a supernatural creature, as humans would call it. We didn't really need it but Kate does.
"You like?" I looked at her and I could see the wonder and excitement masking her face. She nodded at me while smiling so wide. I smirked at her. "Pick anything that you like just make sure you can handle it."
It took thirty minutes for her to choose a weapon.
Kate's POV
"This. It's sharp and quite handy."
She looked back at me and smirked, "Good choice. Come on now."
We went outside. "Put your weapon down there, we'll use that for later. First, I'll teach you hand-to-hand combat."
Deyana taught me the basics. She told me where to strike so I can target their vital parts. She taught me how to take down someone much stronger than me.
We went on and on until she stopped me.
"Are you not tired yet?"
"No" She looked at me in disbelief.
"We'll continue this tomorrow." I begged her to teach me more. "Tomorrow, Kate. I still have some things to figure out. Be patient." She spoke with so much authority. All I could do was submit. I gathered my things and headed back to the castle. "Kate, I promise we'll do this tomorrow. Okay?" I just nodded and continued walking. I could hear her sigh.
As I got to my room. I stripped off so I can take a shower. I was too sweaty. Maybe I can head to the library after.
I haven't seen Elizabeth nor Victoria ever since the incident.
As I finished, I quickly changed and head to the library. The size of the library in this place always amazed me. It is like a place straight out of my dreams. I'm always in awe no matter how many times I go in here.
I picked up any book that I could drown myself in to.
I ended up reading Tess of the d'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy. I was halfway through the book when someone spoke behind me.
"Madame, Countess Elizabeth is requesting to see you." I was startled by the voice but mostly on why Elizabeth want to see me. I found a piece of paper and placed it on the book as a bookmark.
"Where is she?" I asked the odd looking man.
"Follow me." And so I did. He led me to Elizabeth's office. How formal.
He opened the door and did not go inside with me. Is this the moment where she kills me?
"Kate, don't be scared. You know I will never hurt you." I could see the slight smirk playing by her lips. Her lips that look so kissable right now.
Snap out of it, Kate!
She giggled and looked at me.
"You're probably wondering why I requested to see you." I nodded but never said a word. She got up and went behind me. My heartbeat was racing. I felt her hands touch my hips. Her arms finally wrapped around my waist as her lips played with my ears. "I missed you." She kissed my neck and I tried to suppress a moan while I close my eyes.
"Please stop." I wanted the opposite but I was scared. It took all my will power to push her off as I ran back to my room. I wanted to go back but I can't submit to her anymore.
Why does Elizabeth love playing with me like that?
