"Never again." Dylan muttered over and over again as they stopped the car in the driveway of an older ranch house that was surrounded by farmland and forests. It had been a week since they had all planned the trip to Oregon. Dylan feeling the regret of driving with Hanna from the airport.
"I thought you were a good driver. What happened to that?" Holland asked stepping out of the second rental car that Hoechlin had drove behind Hanna.
"I am a obedient driver in California, here I know the roads like the back of my hand, I know how to drive them." Hanna said stepping out of the truck. "Believe me if I was trying I would go the speed limit and we wouldn't have gotten here for another hour."
There was a strange sound from somewhere on the property causing everyone to freeze and look around. They seemed to be on the defencive, like they were to attack whatever it was. "Guys, it's just the dogs." Dylan said making Hanna laugh. "The apartment doesn't allow them or we would have like ten if it was up to Hanna." She turned and glared at her cousin shoving his shoulder lightly.
"Come on, let's go inside." Hanna said waving at everyone to follow her as she began walking to the house.
"Shouldn't your mom be here or something?"
"She's out of town for a couple of weeks, us being here helps her out with watching the house." Hanna shrugged unlocking the door. She walked through the door making sure everyone and their things were inside before following them. The house was silent as they looked around Hanna walking through the group she found the door she was looking for. Poking her head in she smiled, nothing had changed, her mother hadn't touch her old bedroom, maybe moving small things but it was all that same.
"This is cute." Holland said standing behind her. The girls joined looking around the bedroom.
"We did it my life freshman year of highschool." Hanna sighed setting her bags down on the bed. "I'll show you girls your rooms." She waved them out walking them down the hallway to a set of four doors.
"They all have two beds in them, so if you guys double up, the boys won't have to sleep with the dogs."
"But they are dogs, that's why we shouldn't share rooms." Ardon laughed looking at the girls. Grinning they all walked into rooms together, there was still only one open room left.
"Boys!" Hanna shouted causing them all to stumble into the hallway, "The last bedroom has two beds in it, you all can fight over who get's them. The rest of you will sleep with the dogs." The group started arguing over the bedroom aside from Dylan and Hoechlin, they both smiled at Hanna who walked them down the hall.
"Don't destroy mom's room okay D?" Dylan grinned as he was let into Hanna's mother's room. He was told that he was allowed to sleep in there if Hanna didn't take the room.
"So do I get a special room? Or should I have been fighting for the last bedroom?" Tyler asked wrapping his arms around Hanna's waist.
She gave him a smirk pecking his lips. "No you have to sleep with the dogs." She told him with a giggle making her way down the hall again to check on the boys.
She found all of the boys aside from JR and Ian, she knew they would get the room. "Come on boys, sleeping with the dogs isn't so bad." She told them. They all grunted in defeat picking up their things following her down a hall off to the side. She opened the door to the room at the end letting them all walk in. There was a silence before they began to cheer.
"Not so bad huh?" She asked leaning on the door frame.
"This is awesome!" Posey exclaimed pulling her into a hug. The room was fairly large, it held three sets of bunk beds and one single. They had a full entertainment center, along with two couches to sit on. The entertainment center was packed with video games and movie. To say the least the boys seemed pleased.
"This is so much cooler that I thought it was going to be!!" Max shouted bouncing around with Charlie.
"Just don't break anything okay boys? Oh and every night, the dogs do sleep in here, or the living room, so you will have cuddle buddies." Hanna told them leaving them to continue their teenage girl screaming. She walked back down the hall finding her way to her bedroom seeing Tyler sitting on the bed. He held a photo in his hands.
Sitting down next to him, she crossed her legs looking over his shoulder. He didn't seem to notice her presence. "Whatcha doin'?" She asked him snapping him out of his trance.
"Oh, um, sorry." He said handing her the photo. She took it looking at it closely smiling. "Who is that?"
"An old friend." She sighed pinning the picture back to the cork board.
"Was there...?"
"At a time yeah. You could say that he was my first love, the guy I dated before him, there wasn't anything. This one, he was something." She turned to Tyler giving him a smile. "He was my best friend. I miss him to the moon and back, not as a relationship, just as a friend. He was one of the only people I could truly trust."
Tyler didn't say anything looking down at his hands. Hanna walked over to him kneeling down in front of him, she lifted his head by his chin giving him a weak smile. "You don't have to worry you know. I'm not leaving you." She whispered to him. A small smile forced it way onto Tyler's face making Hanna's grow wider.
"I would sure hope not." He replied leaning in and pecking her lips.
Hanna stood up holding her hand out to him. "Come on, I've got some things to do." She told him.
"Why do I need to go with you?"
"Because you were the one two days ago complaining about not knowing truly enough of my past. You're going to see it. Now."
"Alright, alright. I'm coming." He said taking her hand. Hanna pulling him to his feet with ease slightly shocking him. She was much stronger than she acted.
"Where are you two going?" Crystal asked seeing them walking to the backdoor.
"Chores." Hanna smirked.
