It's so quiet here. It's a good thing that I'm seated next to my boss who is currently snoring like a pig. Oh, it's a good idea to record it.
There, one minute and done. I just noticed how long his eyelashes are, and how pink his lips are. Hmmm, he'll look pretty if he was a woman, but then again, he'll look pretty and handsome either way. Wait a minute! Am I checking him out? My boss? Ewww gross. I'll just sleep this long and butt-aching air trip.
Please put on your seat belt. We will be landing in New York in a few minutes. Thank you and enjoy the rest of the flight.
"Uhm, sir boss? Are you sleeping?" I asked softly as I poke his chest. "Sir boss?"
"That's so unprofessional of you Ms. Rodriquez..." His deep voice scared me.
"Is it too late now to say sorry?" I smiled at him.
"I didn't say I didn't like it. I have no idea you are that whimsical, Ms. Rodriguez. Please, call me by my name, just for this working vacation." My hatred for him lessened after he said those "friendly" words I ought never to hear him say.
"That touched my heart." I told him while I made my sarcastic tender face. "But seriously, thank you Alec. I'm Riley" We shook each other's hands as if it's the first time we met. My boss is not so strict and pushy after all.

"HELLO NEW YORK!" I screamed on top of my lungs. Alec and I went inside to gather our luggage and everything else that we need.
We rode in a taxi and everything made me feel like an ant. The tall buildings surrounded me like giants. Such architecture to perfection and everything else is so busy: a lot of people walking fast on the sidewalks, talking on their phones, police buying donuts, huge billboards and street lights that are beautiful at night. This is one busy city. I'm definitely going to the time square later at night and probably take pictures of everything that fascinates me.
"We have a meeting later during dinner. Make sure to where something decent and formal. We are going to meet the architect and engineer who will be creating a new branch for our clothing line because our designs and clothing are selling more than expected."
Looks like I won't be going to the time square later.
As Alec helps the taxi driver to unload our luggage, I can't help but observe the things around me. Not much difference from Paris except from the essence of the past the city of Paris has.
I followed Alec all the way to the lobby, to the registration, to the elevator, and... "You want to stay in the same room?" I stopped from imagining and realized I followed Alec up until his room.
"No. It's just that you have my key." I hope that's enough of an alibi.
"Stop with the excuses. Here." He handed me my key.
Our rooms are in front of one another, and as I came in, the room is six times bigger than my bedroom. I ran towards my bed and jumped. It is as soft as a marshmallow and the bed can fit four people. I went near the window, and I can see the city from up here. I feel like I'm on top of the world. This is the life! The best part is there's a refrigerator! Yay! Food storage! The knock on my door stopped me from day dreaming and it turns out to be Alec, telling me I should be ready for dinner.
After a long period of taking a shower, picking the right clothes, and putting on makeup, I ended up choosing a black fitted dress with black stilettos, simple makeup with red lipstick, and pulled my hair into a bun.
I went outside, and just in time, also Alec. "You look beautiful." He said while he looked at me from head to toe.
"Thank you. I like your tie." I giggled. I saw him smile for the first time, and I never knew he had dimples. His teeth are perfect and his green eyes just shimmered like a gem. He really does look good in his suit.
"Ready?" he asked.
"Yep"
We went down the elevator and went outside where his car waited for him. He opened the door for me so I went in, followed by him in the other side of the car.
He has a driver named Chuck. He's a bit old, older than us and he seems cool. He dropped us off at a five star restaurant. I'm so ready to eat lots, and maybe, I'll get to look like fat Loui, Emily's pet cat.
