Today was Friday and it was the last Friday for the month of may before school ends in June. I was glad school was going to end but, I just couldn't wait for the summer to relax and have fun with family and friends.

Waking up to my alarm, I moved quickly out of bed and went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and I showered within a few minutes. I got dressed in faded blue skinny jeans, a big PINK sweatshirt, pink converses with silver hoop earrings. I decided to go a little makeup free today, just lipgloss and eyeliner with just a dash of blush on my cheeks to give it a fresh look. Just when I was about to comb my hair I heard a knock on my door. I opened it and there stood my brother, Jonathan.

"Lily, mom wants to know if you are done getting ready? She can't dropped you to school today. But I have to." Jonathan said with his hands folded across his wide chess.

"Umm, I am almost done. I just have to comb my hair" I said pointing to my hair.

"Okay. Hurry, before I leave."

"Jeez, don't be so pushy."

"Whatever. Just move faster."

Let me tell you something, my brother and my whole family are werewolf's. Yep, we are. We not like total animals, we are like total humans only our wolf's take over when we shift. And no we don't need the full to go "oooooow" if you catch my drift. Hollywood movies lie."

My brother however, is next in line to be come Alpha. The "big bad wolf" we call him. He's serious at time when it's need but he's also fun. But, he can be an ass sometimes. That means, he plays pranks on anyone when you least expect it, just watch your backs. My brother is 6'7, and I am 5'6 short like my mom while he's tall like dad. He has a wide chest and build with muscles. The guy looks like a pro wrestler. I look like ballerina compared to him. But, this gal has a six pack abs too. Took me a while to get them too. But it was worth it.

Not that I am complaining, I had to go through hours of training. It was terrible, the alpha was killing me. And I was sweating non stop.

As soon as I was done I went downstairs, I saw my mom making pancakes. God, I love pancakes especially chocolate chips with syrup. It was heaven for me. Just one bite takes you to another a whole new world.

"Hey, slow down, your gonna choke." My mom said slapping my hand with the spatula.

"Can't..it's..just..so....goooood!!!!You make the best pancakes. Mom, I love you so much." I said eating faster again. I probably ate like four, what can I say? Werewolf's have big appetites.

"Oh my god. Will you hurry up already? What's taking you so long? We have to go." My brother said walking the thru the back door.

"Jeez, relax man. What crawled up your butt and died? Don't you know what patient means? Goodness." I said to my brother walking towards his mustang. Yep, I said mustang. His "Beauty" he would call it. I guess that makes him the beast. Lol, you get it. Oh whatever, I have corny jokes so what if spend hours watching youtube videos of peoples failures. I shouldn't complain, but dad promised that he will get a car for me sometime soon. I was hoping for a sports car. I love fast cars.

"Come on, get in the car. Lets go." My brother said.

"Okay, umm can I ask a question? " I said fumbling with my sweater.

"Ah sure. What's the problem?"

"Do you think that I will find my mate before my birthday?"

"I am not going to guess,  but all I can say is that it can happen anytime. Whether you are ready or not."

"Did you find your mate yet?"

"Umm,  I some what did." My brother says blushing brushing his hand through his hair

"Oh you did. Aww, your blushing. That's so cute. Who would have thought that my big scary brother brother would be so mushy. And in love. Your so whipped."

"Shut up. Don't tell mom yet, you know how she gets. Screaming and squealing."

"Sure. Lucky for you. Do I get to meet her?"

"Um, she is sort of an alpha's daughter. Means off limit. Maybe if I let you meet her he will go easy on me."

Just then when I was going to respond we arrived at school. I thought to myself if I could get to know the packs alpha's daughter maybe I could find my mate within the pack.

"Which pack is she from?"

"The Blue Bloods Pack. Why you asked?"

"I was thinking if you could invite them for my birthday."

"That's not a bad idea. I'll tell dad."

"Okay, see you later. I have class soon."

"Okay"

Just when I got out of the car, I caught on the most intoxicating smell. It smelled like pine and mint and very manly.

"MATE" my wolf whispered.

When I turn around I saw the sexiest man. Tall, broad solid figure packed with muscles that was exposed due to the wife beater he was wearing with a leather jacket. Damn his legs look toned and hard. Those striking grey eyes and lush kissable lips. His was dark black like a ravens wings. His expression was stone.

"Hello, my name is Heath. And I am your my mate. Wow, I didn't know my mate was so beautiful. What's your name, love?" His voice so like husky and got me feel like I wanted to melt under his touch.

"L-lily, god you're so pretty." I blushed and ducked my head realizing what I said.

He laughed. He laughter was deep and it made my legs feel like jello.

"I am glad to have meet you. Doll, don't hide your face." I felt his palm touch my cheeks and instantly sparks flew. I looked up at him and almost got whiplash.

"Love, from now on I am joining your school to keep other male hands away from you." He said snarling the last part with hate. Those eyes, I swear they were staring into my soul.

"Okay sis, sorry to break up the lovey dovey moment but we are going to be late." My brother said coming behind me kissing my temple.

"However, Heath and I will finish this conversation." My brother said giving Heath a overprotective brother look.

I walked into school and looked back at my brother and my mate for the last minute. I waved at them and walked into class. Only to think "Will Heath fully accept me?"
