My time with Kate

Kate was one of the few humans to know my secret, of course there are others who know about it but not to the extent that she knew. To me she was the only thing I couldn't stand to lose, the one thing I knew I'd protect from all the enemies I'd made. Her eyes looked worried as we talked at my ranch, she knew this place was special, I knew it to. She asked "Will it change you?" "Probably but I won't accept it unless we agree on this." she looked scared not a T.V. actress sob story scared but scared and worried, I asked "Hey, what's the matter?" I brushed her hair from the side of her face She said "Its just I don't wanna lose you." her eyes instead of looking at me were staring at the ground "there've been to many close calls." her eyes started to look watery. I took her hand, kissed it and said "Then I won't accept it." she squeezed my hand tighter and said "Thank you." I brushed her hair from her face again and kissed her. Every time we kiss I feel like electricity is flowing through me, I feel whole and complete. I pulled away and whispered "I've always loved you, and I always will." she whispered back "I love you too, no matter what." we watched the sun set on my ranch and just enjoyed the scenery we were both scared of what would happen if I took project fury but for now, for just this one moment we enjoyed and savored every single moment with each other. I looked at her and said "I'll take you to my favorite place here." she smiled as the sun set even in the dark she looked stunning. We both got up and I led the way to my hiding place, a clearing at the edge of my ranch it was a bright night, a beautiful harvest moon I made a fire and said "Now your a country girl." she smiled and said "This place is so beautiful." I said "I've never seen it so green." We fell asleep on the dried vegetation. When I woke up I said with teary eyes "I'm so sorry Kate."
