I was looking at the shadowy figure again only this time the room changed it looked like my ranch. I looked at the figure and said "What should I call you?" the shadow moved closer to me and said "You have many questions I'm sure, but remember we're in your mind, I've told you this before, and as your mind you get to choose the landscape, personally I prefer the previous environment." I was barely paying attention to the shadow and asked "How come my ribs feel better?" "Ugh"  the shadow sighed and said "this is your mind dumb ass you don't feel any physical pain or feelings." "Oh well then ok I get it now." "As for your previous question you can call me Syriac." "Huh that name sounds very old." "It should I'm almost Five millenia ahead of you so yeah its an old name." "Any way what did you bring me here for?" I questioned "I brought you here to know that you took a great risk saving the wolf, this Kiro." "Hey he's my friend and he saved all of us which means that I had to help him, plus with his help I could get Kate away from the council." "How many times must I tell you Kate can take care of herself." "I understand that-" then he cut me off and said "No you don't understand she has powers that will grow to rival yours." "What?" I said with an idiotic look on my face. I've always known that Kate could handle herself but I still had the instinct, that need to protect her. Syriac said "You'll find out soon enough, for now just leave I'm extremely exhausted and so are you." I went back to reality and realized I had been asleep in the back seat of the SUV I grabbed my dad's HK and decided I needed to think. I stayed up all night wondering how we were all gonna get through this. Kiro woke up and asked "What troubles you?" again he was standing behind me with his hand on my shoulder I said "I don't know how we're gonna survive this." Kiro said "Don't worry we have many allies this war has been held off for far too long it was supposed to happen long before your time." "Who's on our side?" I asked Kiro said "After Shan attacked you the council was split, half the guards are with us along with my packs and we have Selea on our side with her legions of faeire's." "I guess Damian chose Shan?" Kiro said "Damian chose his side long before you." Kiro walked off and shouted "Tomorrow we'll leave to Selea's palace."
