Syriac was incredible he kept appearing then dissipating in front and then behind Shan, She could barely keep up every time she attack Syriac was three steps ahead of her. Syriac said "You'll never win, give up while I still feel merciful." Shan kept stabbing and kicking but hitting nothing and said "Nicolas!!!!! you won't be able to hid behind your guardian forever, eventually you'll be drained and then he'll be gone." Syriac knelt to the floor and yelled "Nick get Kate away fom here!!!" Shan was behind Kate who some how appeared in the courtyard with a knife under Kate's neck!!!!! I yelled "Don't even try it!!!!!" I raised my HK from its ankle holster and fired one shot Shan disappeared and Kate was on the floor of the courtyard in a pool of blood I ran over to her and put my hand over the slash and said "No.....no no no no!!!!!!!!! This can't be happening......this can't......oh God......no!!!!!!" Kate smiled and tried to speak against the blood "I.......love.......love......cah cah" she coughed "you." I smiled and said "Your so beautiful." I cryed I knew Kate was dead but I couldn't let her go I saw her spirit leave her body, due to my exsperience with the dead, undead and other things I saw her. Her appearence was flawless as usual, she was everything that I wasn't. I said "Shan!!!!!!!!!" as her spirit left her body it manifested infront of me and said "I'm so sorry." I raised my hand to touch her floating spirit it passed through her. I said "No I'm sorry, I'll kill Shan.....I'll find a way to bring you back." "No no my love let go your life has always been in turmoil, let go......let yourself find peace.....Syriac will guide you he's already promised that." "Syriac? What does that mean?" Kate's head turned and said "Its time for me to go." "No...no no no no!!!!! Don't go!!!! Please!!!!!" she dissipated with five last words "I will always love you." I bowed my head and said to myself "You were all I had left." That day something in me died, that day nothing would keep me from away from Shan, The Night Rider was out for blood!!!!!!!!!
