All Hell Breaks Loose

As I turned my head to face Shan I noticed everything looked like it was slowing down, the walls looked like they were turning red and melting away, the room fell apart then came back together as a pitch black room with a red'ish black'ish shadowy figure that looked like mist standing right in front of me I said "You feel familiar, do I know you?" the figure had an ancient voice when it spoke "Yes you do know me." I realized that voice, this figure was the same one that's been talking to me all this time. I looked at it and asked "What are you doing here? Why are you constantly talking to me?" the figure moved forward and said "Because we're the same, and if you die I'll be stuck in your genetic code for forever, or at least until the council drains you." I frowned and asked "How do you know about the council?" "Ugh." the figure sighed "I'm apart of you, I know what you know as well the knowledge from the being who's blood is in your veins,and his ancestors." "So why do you care what happens?" "Because I know the pain of death and loss, I've known it longer then your civilization has been around, remember I'm apart of you I feel what you feel that includes pain." I laughed "So your just in this for you?" "Yeah pretty much, but if I'm stuck with you you might as well learn to fight." "I don't have time for this!!!!!!" I yelled "I've got to protect Kate." "Don't worry this is all in your head, a hundred years in here will be less then a second in the real world, plus Kate hasn't told you everything." "What do you mean?" I questioned "You'll find out soon enough." I yelled "Tell me now!!!!!" "Fine but this is really gonna make your head spin, her ancestor was the warrior who's blood runs in your veins, my blood, so in a way she's my kin." "What?!? So now I'm like related to her?" "No you idiot, not genetically, but she does have some of the abilities that you have, remember project fury you were injected with it." I was confused "So we're not related?" the shadow put its hand on a shape that must've been its head in frustration "No you two are not related,period understand now?" "Alright when you put it that way yes, I do understand." "Now we've run out of time." the shadow walked past me and said "Come on you've got council to destroy,a girl to protect, and mysteries to uncover."
