Because Lilly is in California, Olivia doesn't have anyone to talk to besides Haley. But Olivia knows how Haley is and she doesn't want her of anyone to stay with her while Lilly is gone.
After school Olivia goes to watch tv, and an alert came over the tv, it was about and earthquake in California. Olivia starts to worry about Lilly and called her phone, but she didn't answer. Olivia starts to cry because she thinks something bad happened to Lilly, and then she remembers that she has Lilly's dad's number and then calls it, and there is an answer. She asks right away how Lilly is. There is a long pause on the other side of the phone. "Hello?!" Says Olivia and then her dad answers her question, "She didn't make it through the earthquake..." Olivia drops the phone and start to sob so bad that her eyes hurt. "How did she die?" Olivia asks
"It was a falling fan" Lilly's dad answers. There was another pause on the phone. Olivia hears Lilly's dad crying. "It's okay, she is okay now. You don't have to worry about her health anymore." Olivia says trying to make him feel better. But it doesn't work, he just gets so mad, and he starts to yell, "NO IT'S NOT OKAY!!! SHE IS DEAD!!! SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE I HAD LEFT!!!"
Olivia just hang up the phone and lets him calm down. She just goes to her room to mourn over Lilly's death. Olivia knows that when Lilly's dad gets back to Miami she would go visit him more often.
