Forgiveness

It was night. Around half eleven. I was still up, typing on my laptop. Max kept pestering me to see what I was typing but I put up a force field around me.

"Oh c'mon Alecxis! Let me see!" Max was always curious but I needed to do some research which DID NOT include my boyfriend.

"No Max, for the hundredth time!" I said, typing and clicking. 

After I got what info in needed from online, I switched to my Holotome. I took off my amulet and hovered it over the Holotome's scanner. It scanned my necklace and more information popped up. Well, very little is known about this Titan so I didn't get much which I didn't already know.

"What are you doing?" Max asked, as I let the shield down, closed the Holotome and tied my locket back on.

"Going to bed. What about you?" I asked sarcastically. I headed to the bathroom and locked the door. I got changed into my pajamas and came out again. Max was in his pajamas too.

We got into bed. I had my back to Max. I dunno why. I just had a lot on my mind at the moment.

I felt an arm snake around my waist.

"Alecxis? What's up with you?" Max asked, turning me to face him.

"Nothing. I just have a lot on my mind." 

"Yeah... Umm, what were you doing with that Holotome and your necklace?"

"Nothing."

"Alecxis." his voice was serious. "Is there a Titan in your necklace?"

I sat up. Max did the same, his arm still around me. I stared into his blood red eyes. I sighed.

"Promise me you won't tell anyone. Especially not my brothers." I made him promise.

"Ok. What is it?"

"My necklace, well, amulet, holds a gem. A special gem. I need one more shard of  the gem and then I'll be able to summon the Titan that lies in wait." I told him.

"Why didn't you tell me?" he looked hurt.

"I wanted to. I swear. But James thought that the less people who knew about the legendary Titan within this amulet, the better. Do you forgive me for not telling you sooner?"

"Of course I do." Max pulled me into a hug and kissed me.

"Thanks." I said, my voice muffled.

We lay back down. I explained how I got it and what happened. I also told him about the Titan itself.

"Wow. That's a lot to take in Alecxis." 

"Yeah. I know. I was going to tell you once it was complete and the Titan was bonded but I guess that it doesn't matter now." I told Max that I was going to sleep. Max did too.

It was the morning. We all met in one of the kitchens and had breakfast. I slipped out of the room and headed to cells twenty three, twenty four and twenty five.

"Hi." I said cheerfully to Moeka, Ash and Summer.

They didn't answer. I carried on.

"I talked to our leader and he has agreed, finally, to release you guys from these cells. As long as you wear these." I showed them three metal bracelets.

"What are those?" Moeka asked curiously.

"They're Magic Reducers. As long as you wear these, you'll be free to stay in a room. A proper room at that." I explained.

"Ok." Moeka agreed.

"Fine." Ash said.

"Why should we?" Summer argued.
