The Raid

"What?! Already?!" Max shot up after hearing that.

"Yep. You know it!" I was already dressed in my black clothes. I had my hair tied up tight in a high pony tail. "Now hurry up. We have to be in the gym in fifteen minutes."

Max got out of bed in a hurry. He get dressed, forgetting that I was there. I shut me eyes tight, not wanting to see... My boyfriend's naked body.

I went outside and checked the time on my phone.

"Ten more minutes!" I shouted to Max. I heard a loud Crash! and an 'Oh god.'

I shook my head.

Should've woken him up earlier.

We got to the main gym which was outside and about the size of two or three football fields.

We went over the plan once more.

"Alecxis, you're leading the charge right?" the principle asked.

"Yes. Now let's take back our home!" I yelled, a fist high in the air. Everyone cheered.

In total, the amount of students where about three hundred and we also had Magic Academy's armies.

I ran through the portal just to be met by about ten shapeshifters. I hacked away at them as more people came through the portal after me.

After we pushed back the X Race, Max called to me.

"Alecxis! Go!"

I nodded and reluctantly left the battle field.

My job was to find where the others were being kept and get them out. I came to a door and opened it. I nearly screamed at what I saw.

"Gross." I said.

All inside of the main room was a gross solid like liquid. I looked around and saw someone who looked familiar.

Aidan.

I ran over to him and froze the surface of the liquid. I broke it and repeated. I finally broke through and caught Aidan.

He's breathing. I thought. Thank god. That means the others are still alive. Just unconscious.

I sat him down, propped up against a make-shift wall of ice.

I began to work on freeing the others. I sensed something behind me. Out of instinct, I created an ice broadsword.

I swung at whoever was behind me.

"Woah! It's just me Alecxis!" I heard someone yell.

"Max?!" I lowered the sword. "Oh god! I'm so sorry. This place is really getting to me."

"I can see why." Max said, looking around.

"Can you help me?"

Myself and Max set about getting the others free.

"Ugh..."

I turned around.

"Aidan!" I ran over to him and gave him a hug. Tears ran down my cheeks.

"Wow. Why are you crying Alecxis?" Aidan asked, hugging me back.

"I- I'll tell you later. Can you help us?" I wiped the tears away.
