Whilst most of the gods felt that they were permanently freed of Thalia and her schemes, Ianite knew that she could eventually escape. Hoping to find a way to stop the Anomaly's return, she went to Vextronite. He was reluctant to help Ianite, for he too knew that Thalia would probably escape, and when she did, he wanted to be on her good side. Ianite pleaded with him to help her maintain balance, but he refused. As she left his domain, a small pocket dimension contained near the Nether, she warned him that Justice would prevail, and those who oppose it would be destroyed...
-Excerpt from the seventh chapter of 'The Origins'

(Case's POV)

"The Nether? That's Dianite's realm! He'll never let us through." I protested.

"We'll find a way, we always do." Braxton replied nonchalantly.

"Then what? Say we make it past Dianite and his minions, how do we get out of the Bedrock?" I asked.

"There's a passage, but it'll be heavily guarded." Braxton answered.

"Greaaaaaaat. That makes me feel much better about this plan." I groaned sarcastically.

Braxton smiled and said, "I knew you'd come around eventually."

"Shut up." I scowled and punched Braxton in the shoulder. "I better go tell the others about this suicide mission." I told Braxton as I walked away from him.....

(Ianite's POV)

Just as I had feared, Thalia had returned. I quickly jogged down the corridors of my palace. Built entirely of obsidian, Purpur bricks and tan End stone, it was a magnificent home. Unfortunately, it probably wouldn't stand much longer. I rounded a corner and pushed through a heavy wooden door. The sounds of battle echoed up to the top of the wall where I was now standing. A tall, black figure stood, morosely watching the scene below us. It turned to look at me, it's purple eyes sorrowful.

"Lady Ianite." It's voice rumbled, seeming to shake the very wall we stood on.

"General." I said curtly, "How are the men?" I asked, looking down to the battle, where more black Endermen tried to hold back the torrent of nightmares that the Rupture had let loose. An hour ago, a small Rupture had began forming, and had only grown from then, spewing out horrifying beasts.
"Not well, they are getting tired. We've already lost 5 soldiers, and we'll continue to lose more if we can't shut that Rupture." General Jūk informed me. I watched as a beast with tentacles crawled from the Rupture and snagged an Enderman with it's appendage. I quickly drew my bow and chanted a spell. With a violent hissssssss, I launched an arrow into the monstrosity, illuminating it in purple light as roared in pain. It flared in purple flames, then fell silent.

"We need a new plan." I said.....

(Case's POV)

As I walked toward the ruined tower where everyone was currently presiding, I felt a presence enter the realm. I had trained for years to be able feel powerful presences through Ianite's power, but this surprised me. It wasn't the hatred of Dianite or the control of Mianite... Or even the peace of Ianite... It was something new... Warm and inviting... A storm cloud began forming down the hill from us, above a small grass plain. I quickly dashed toward it, furiously trying to figure out what it could be.....
I slid to a stop on the edge of the strange storm. Electricity had begun arcing across the clouds, and the wind had picked up. My robe flapped in the now-strong wind and I peered into the clouds. I looked up the hill and saw the figures of my friends looking down at the phenomena. I turned back to the storm as a bolt of lightning hit the ground. The storm quickly dispersed, and where the lightning had impacted, two figures lay motionless.
I drew my blade and cautiously approached the newcomers.
It became apparent that one was a girl and the other was a guy. They had their hands locked together. The girl had silvery blond hair and flawless white skin. Her face was relaxed and she slept peacefully. I looked over at the blood and mud covered boy. Before I could make out anything else about him, his eyes opened up and he slowly reached over and brushed a stray hair from her face. She stirred and her eyes opened, looking at the boy. That's when I realized who it was.
