(Case's POV)

After Jacob's surprise visit and extravagant exit, Braxton angrily paced the room.

"He can't tell us?!" He shouted angrily. "He can't give us valuable info that could thwart Mianite's plan?!" He raved.
Having given up on talking him down, I sat tiredly on the couch.

"Can I come out now?" Ianita's voice whispered from behind the painting which lead to our "panic room" which had been converted to her bedroom.

"Yeah." I told her. The painting swung outward, attached to the wall via hinges, and Ianita stepped out.
"So, that was a waste of time." Ianita sighed, referring to their extensive planning of the heist.

"I suppose so." I agreed. "Any news from Lady Ianite?" I inquired. Ianita shook her head.

"Mom's been unusually quiet lately, I think that whatever Mianite is planning is gonna happen soon." Ianita said, changing the subject.

"Yeah, I can feel the balance tipping." I remarked.

'Beware, Champion. He is coming.'

Ianite's voice rang clearly through my mind. Ianita looked at me worriedly.

"Did you-" she began as Braxton burst into our conversation.

"Ianite." He gasped. "She warned us-"

I interrupted him. "He is coming......"

(Manic's POV)

I stood near Mianite, who was mounted on his white horse. He called it Merlin.

"Today is our moment of triumph." He announced to me, looking down at me.

"Aye, Lord Mianite. We have quite the army, the crew of Ianitees don't stand a chance. Yer plan be foolproof." I affirmed.
Behind us stood the girl, Kate, and General Eugene. Hundreds of Mianite's soldiers followed behind us as we marched toward the small settlement where we had located the demigod.

"Two more hours." Mianite said......

(Case's POV)

"Brax, go get your armor from the basement, me and Ianita are gonna go visit some friends." I ordered, dragging Ianita out the door. I swiftly walked into the woods, Ianita in tow, headed for Bridger's hideout. Once there I slammed my fist against the sturdy wooden door. It slowly opened revealing Bridger holding a sword defensively.

"News?" He asked hopefully. I shook my head.

"There's nothing yet. You seem to have a unique... Condition." I said. He nodded sadly.

"Then what brings you here?" He asked, finally noticing Ianita behind me.

"We think Mianite's about to make a move, and I want your help. Consider it payment for my research." Bridger disappeared inside for a couple of moments, then reappeared wearing a grey hood and strapping blades to his wrists.

"For Amorine." He muttered, following after us......
I stepped onto the porch of Bryce's home, cautiously rapping on the metal door. Immediately, the door swung open and Bryce stood there.

"Hey." I greeted.

"Oh, it's you." He said, lowering his battle axe.

"Mianite's coming to capture Braxton." I explained.

"Mhmmm. And how does this affect me?" He questioned.

"Mianite is trying to kill immortals, if he gets Braxton, you can never become Brycenite." I sighed, wishing he hadn't asked. His eyes lit up.

"Well then, let's teach that god a lesson." He said eagerly......
An hour later, Me, Braxton, Ianita, Bridger, and Bryce all stood in front of my house, ready for battle.

"We're probably going to be hopelessly outmatched, but Ianite may help us." I told Braxton. He nodded, nervously sliding his sword in and out of his scabbard.
I left the group, heading for my room. I closed the door to my room, and started pleading to Ianite. 'We need you, m'lady.'

"Hello." An unfamiliar voice said. I opened my eyes and saw a man with white hair and white plate armor standing in my room. He had completely white eyes. My eyes narrowed.
