The story of James and Lily

the room of requirement

The Room of Requirement is located on Hogwarts' seventh floor, across from the tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy. To "open it" you must walk past the area of the door three times, thinking of what you need.

Lily's pov
"Ready" we walk through the large wooden doors and stand silently in amazement. The room is massive. It has a large fire place surrounded by dozens on been bags, chairs and sofas. It's brightly coloured and has a large coffee table in the middle or the room on which everyone starts to make an uncountable amount of Woven baskets full of all kinds of food, both muggle and from the wizarding world appear. There's an indoor play area at the far right side, which although it does look absolutely incredible just proves my point that Sirius has the maturely of a 7 year old. Theres loads of things to do all over the room, karaoke, a dance floor and even a few brooms over in the corner. " This is amazing" Sirius screamed as he ran a leaped onto one of the sofas, followed by both James and Remus. "So what did you ask it for exactly" I question as I take a seat in-between Remus and James. "Just a cool place to hang out that we won't have to leave for a few hours" Sirius replied with a grin as he dove into one of the baskets of sweets.

For 2 hours  we eat and ran around climbing and jumping over the sofas. We played a small games of quidditch- Sirius will swear to the grave his team won but I know other wise. We sang a few songs and had a great time in the play area. Attempting handstands and trying lots of little spells. It's times like these I know I'm going to remember for the rest of my life. We're all spread out along the floor. Mar is sitting on the sofa opposite me with Sirius's head resting on her lap. I'm leaning against James's chest with his arms around my waist and my legs stretched out over Remus. Peter is laying on the floor eating chocolate frogs and Franks and Alice are sat on the floor as well leaning against a chair with their hands intwined.
"Oh please padfoot you did not have your first kiss in 2nd year and you know it" James laughed. "Prongs shut up" Sirius wined. "Yea why don't you tell everyone who it was really with" Remus says with a grin as he adjusted my legs on his lap. "Alight alright fine but don't judge and I'm not proud of it ok" he looks defensive. I'm excited to hear this. I lean forward smile widely. "It was Enid, in first year" he throws his hands over his face and leans into Mars stomach to hide. "MY SISTER ENID" Peter exclaimed almost leaping off the floor. "Yea ok I'm sorry but she was a 2nd year then I thought it would be cool" he mumbled. We're all laughing uncontrollably, baring in mind poor Peter hasn't exactly been blessed with good looks like the others and his sister isn't much better. "Ok....ok...lets..." James can hardest speak he's laughing so much. "Let's go around everyone's first kiss" he manages to get out in between gasps for breath. "Mar" I say grinning. "Second year Amos Diggory" "Ewwww" everyone said in unison. "Oh Shutup" she said laughing shyly. And Mar is never shy. "See mine doesn't seem to bad now does it" Sirius moans in defense. "No offense Peter" he adds as he smiles weekly at Peter. "Non taken" he replies getting up and sitting on the other side of James. James ruffles his hair in a brotherly fashion and turns back to kiss me on the cheek. "Frank your turn" mar states, as she aimlessly strokes Sirius's glossy black hair. "3rd year Alice" he answers proudly. "Same for me" Alice said giggling, clearly embarrassed. Aw they're so cute together. "Lily-flower what about you" damn sirius black I though I'd gotten away with it. "Ahh do I have to" I wine. "Um yes you certainly do" mar scolds. "Agh fine... 1st year..sev" I wait for the cries of 'eww's' and 'how could you's' but instead everyone just looks totally and completely speechless. "Nude doesn't seem so bad now does it" Sirius says raising his eyebrows "shut it black" I joke. "Oh God lily how could you do this to me" James complains dramatically, resting his head on my shoulder. "Oh shove off he's not that bad and I'm sure you all saw it coming" I defend. "Ok moving on.... Moony" Sirius says with a huge grin. Oh crap. "Uhh 2nd year......lily" "WHAT" James literally jumps out of his seat knocking me into the floor. "Um ouch" i say getting back up to sit in the sofa. "This cannot be happening first Snivellus and now one on my best friends... Oh I think in going to pass out. ...When why...wh..I...why doesn't anyone know about this" James nearly shouts, he doesn't look angry...per say just...well shocked. "Lils please he's less likely to murder you" Remus murmurs as he scoots further away from James. "Oh sit down you melodramatic idiot" I laugh and pull James down next to me. "Ok so as Remus said it was 2nd year we were in the library and we both burst out laughing after because it was weird. and actually Sirius knew, Mar knew most people knew apart from you because we wanted to keep our dear friend Remus hear Alive the end" I say as i pat Remus's hand. "But I.." "I said the end" "but Lil" "James" I warn. "Fine fine ok" he raises his hands up in defeat. "But moony your for it when Evans here isn't around to protect you" James jokes, punching Remus in the arm. "Oh please potter I'm always around" I reply tapping his knee. Everyone laughs and we move on to the next person. "Peter what about you" I say with a smile. "5th year Marlene" Peter practically sings. "WHAT" Sirius screams jumping up. "See not fun is it padfoot" James says sarcastically. "Wormtail you little rat" "wow creative" I laugh. "Mar... would...would..you care to...explain"  he stutters with his hands on his hips. "Dramatic git" I lay under my breath. Only James and Remus hear and the laugh lightly with me. "Ah ok. It was after we'd just one the house cup and at the after party, somehow we'd got fire whiskey. I was drunk. He walked me back to my dorm. I was...thankful. That's is" "wow Marlene Mikinon and Peter Petigrew don't know about you but I think it works" James teased. "Oh shove off prongs" Sirius says throwing a pillow at James head.

We spend the whole after noon laughing playing more games and eating..a lot. It's now 2am.

"I'm tired" I yawn as I rest my head on James's shoulder. Suddenly the biggest bed I have ever seen in my life, easily the same size as several king sized pushed together appears. "Well that was convenient then" James laughed as he picked me up bridal style and carried me over to it. "Ah thank God I'm about to pass out" mar says as she drops onto the other end. Everyone climbs in and with a wave of my wand were all wearing pyjamas. "I love magic" i announce with a sigh. "You and me both" James whispers into my side. "It brought us together" he says with a stupid grin. "Cringe" I joke. "Oh you two make me sick sometimes" Sirius complains. "Oh please you lot are practically married" I laugh and motion between James, Sirius and Remus - Peter was already asleep to I left him out of it. "You bet we are" he screamed as he lunged himself over to our side landing on me and James. "Padfoot you squishing my girlfriend" "hey she loves me two" he says nestling his head into my shoulder. "Oh cause I do....who couldn't love such a adorable little puppy" I tease, running my hand through his hair. "Oh Evans and to think I was considering moving in with you and prongs when mar decides I'm to annoying" he says acting offended. "Black I don't think you could get rid of her even if you tried" I said with a smile, mar simply laughed and out her arm out for Sirius to take and join her back over their side. "Still I think we should have a back up just incase" he says leaping over to mar. We sit in the darkness silent for a few seconds. "I call lily" Remus shouts. "Ah Moooonnnyyyy" "your so annoying" "damn I wanted to call lily" James moans. "Snooze you lose" Remus joked as he pulls the covers up over him. "Ok ok to save arguments if we're all old and not married we just by a really big house and live together agreed" James proposes. "Ah that would be great" I agreed. "The marauders extended" Sirius laughs.

After discussing what our new house will be like and Sirius begging us to let him have a puppy to play with we actually fall asleep. Surrounded by all my friends, by the only family I have I suddenly can't wait to move into that house.
