•••PROBLEM XV | Sitting On The Popular Table.
"Uh...Wha...What?!"
I spluttered, as I looked at Leon wide eyed. "You're kidding me, right?" Leon shook his head, "Do I look like I am?" he said, cocking an eyebrow.
He didn't look like he was kidding. His face turned serious.
"You've got to be kidding me Leon!" I exclaim, "Do you realize what you just asked me to do?"
Leon nodded his head in all seriousness, "I do," he said. He smiled, "Now are you going to go or am I going to have to tell Reyana..." He trailed off, knowing he didn't have to finish the sentence for me to do it.
"Do Hell with you. I ain't doing this shit!" I hissed at Leon and picked up my bag from the ground and got to my feet.
"Yo Sister!" Leon's voice boomed over the cafeteria, making my back stiff. Silence fell upon the room. I froze in my tracks and whipped around to see Leon smirking at me.
My eyes widened in panic and I vigorously shook my head at him. He cocked an eyebrow as though silently asking me if I'd do it. I nodded and he smiled at me making my blood boil.
He looked behind me at something. I turned around and saw Reyana giving him an impatient look.
"Oh uh, I forgot what I was going to say," he said and scratched the back of his neck, smiling sheepishly, making her roll her eyes as the cafeteria went back to it's noisy self.
"Why do you want me to go sit with them?"
Leon rolled his eyes, "You'll thank me for this one day," he said. I scowled, "Of course, in your dreams."
I frowned, "They are your friends too, aren't you going to come with me?" Leon shook his head and smiled, "Nah, I have some things to do. Though a Lil' bit of advice—Be Confident, I guess," he said.
Confusion laced my expression but I nodded, picked up my tray and started towards the 'It' table.
Out of the whole crowd at the table, I had only talked to two of them. And I had a bearable relationship with one of them. I was so screwed.
A gulp ran down my throat as I reached the table. Immediately, the cafeteria had gone still waters. I felt numerous pairs of eyes piercing the back of my head, as well as the front.
