Surgery and press

*they just about manage to get Ben inside, Mal is still with him and belle and beast are there*
Doctor: your appendix needs to be removed your highness, you will need surgery immediately
Ben: okay
Mal: please don't die
Ben: I wasn't planning on it
*he smiles at her through gritted teeth, she smiles a little, a few tears still rolling down her cheeks*
Mal: I love you
Ben: I love you too sweetheart
*they kiss and then he is wheeled off into theatre*
Doctor: he'll be fine I promise
Belle: how long will it take him to recover
Doctor: about a week with minimal physical activity and then another week  or two for his to resume normal activity
Beast: thank you Doctor
*she nods and leaves and Mal bursts into tears again*
Mal: we were just gonna curl up and do absolutely nothing, all I could think about was how bored I was after watching their tourney practice
*fairy G comes in*
Fairy G: I'm very sorry but the press have caught wind of the kings condition and someone needs to explain the situation to them, my Lord, my lady
Mal: no, I'll do it
Fairy G: are you sure Mal
*she looks at her slightly concerned a out her state of mind*
Mal: yeah, I was there when it happened, it should be me
*they go out in front of the palace where there is a bunch of reporters and a podium with the Royal crest on the front of it, Mal steps up to the podium, still slightly shaky*
Mal: hello everyone, as I'm sure you've all heard King Ben was rushed to the medical base earlier and I'm here to tell what's happening, approximately 4:10 and I were about to make her way back to the castle for a comfortable evening when he doubled over and collapsed, he fell to the ground and I called for help as I can't stand aside him, his back and head resting on me as the coach and few of the tourney team arrived, coach sent Jay and prince Chad to get the doctor and they returned with the palaces head doctor a few minutes later, The team were sent inside to deliver Benz parents to the medical base and on-site the doctor determined it was an appendix rupture, upon getting looking into the medical base we said our goodbyes and he was taken into surgery to remove his Pendix, it is a moderately short procedure and he should hopefully be pretty much back to normal in about three weeks bearing in mind there is no telling exactly but the doctors are optimistic, I am told he will be perfectly fine and will regain full capabilities very quickly... It was terrifying to see the man I love in pain and floor... I wouldn't wish it on anyone...
*She was beginning to break but she just tried to keep herself together*
Mal:I just sat there holding his hand and finger help but just try... I love him and I could do was sit there and watch...
*She finally snapped, if you tears began to down her cheeks, your voice began to crack*
Mal: he was so brave....he was more worried about me crying then he was about the pain he was in... He was just trying to call me down and reassure me and I just kept crying...
*she finally completely losses it and tears stream down her face, she turns away to fairy G who rushes for as she begins to cry and hugs her as she says*
Fairy G: it has been very traumatic she should be by the Kingside when he comes out of surgery, thank you
*They walk inside*
Fairy G: hey, it's okay, he's going to be fine
*Mal stops sobbing, she sniffs and rubs her eyes*
Mal: yeah, I know, I was just so scared I'd lose him
Fairy G: do you really think he'd ever leave you without one hell of a fight
*Mal chuckles a little*
Mal: no
Fairy G: let's go back I was told by one of the nurses that it's a very short procedure so we should get back to him
Mal: yeah
(I am aware it's not accurate just go with it)
