Getting better

*the doctors looked her over and told her she could go but would have to be on crutches for a few weeks so away she went back to her room, Ben took her there and put her under orders to rest her ankle and basically just rest, she was slowly but surely regaining her strength but having had to be wheeled back to her room decided he was right and she had best listen to him and so went to bed as he left her sleeping in her room Evie basically pounced on him the second the door was closed*
Evie: they said she's awake is she awake is she?!?!
*Evie's words just all fall out at once*
Ben: yes she is
Evie: can I see her?!
Ben: she just fell asleep Evie
Evie: asleep? All she's done for the last week is sleep surely that's not what she needs to do again
Ben: she's really weak Evie, she can barely move, she needs to rest and recharge
Evie: but she's okay?
Ben: other than the ankle she's perfectly fine, it's weird
Evie: what is
Ben: I don't know, I guess just that she could be absolutely fine and yet it have taken to long for her to wake up, I guess her body just wasn't ready
Evie: I guess
Ben: how's fashion school going?
Evie: I'm the future queens best friend, makes it hard to make friends, I always hear things that don't have anything to do with anything
Ben: I'm sorry, I know she wouldn't that
Evie: I don't mind, I just hope it gets a bit better soon
Ben: if there's anything I can do to help
Evie: just get Mal better, protect her
Ben: I'll try
Evie: and I have a message from Doug for you
Ben: what is it?
Evie: he wants to know if you'll be his best man
Ben: what?! You guys are getting married?
Evie: I always wanted to marry young he's my one, I'm his one, so when this happened to Mal we just kinda decided to do it
Ben: congratulations Evie
*they hug excitedly*
Evie: so?
Ben: of course I will be
Evie: can you ask Mal if she'll be my maid of honour
Ben: I think you should ask her yourself
Evie: I have to go now, I'll back in a few days but Doug has to go and tell his family and I'm going with him
Ben: alright I'll ask her
Evie: she's gonna be okay isn't she?
Ben: with time
Evie: bye Ben
Ben: bye Evie, good luck and tell Doug I send my congratulations
Evie: I will
