Bal: a King and his queen

Happy New year

*a well later it was New Years and Mal, Ben, Evie and Doug were gathered together for a little party to celebrate the new year*
Evie: so let's do New Years resolutions
Mal: ummm
Evie: I'll start! Okay so my resolution is to get married this year
Mal: E I'm not sure that's how a resolution works....
Evie: well it is now! Moving on, Mal you seem very eager to talk so why don't you go next!
Mal: love you too E
*they roll their eyes at each other and then smirk*
Mal: I guess if we're talking weddings then I'd like to set an actual date, probably next year though
Ben: mines to try and push that up a bit, I don't want to have to wait over s year to marry this one
Doug: come on no wedding related ones, what do we want to do this year as people?
Evie: okay so I guess I want to pass my finals for this year and get into second year at fashion school
Mal: which you'll do with your eyes closed
Doug: I want to go back home more, see my family
Ben: that's nice
Mal: I guess I just want to paint and I don't know prepare for life as a queen, oh and learn to control my powers properly
Ben: I want to really start leaving my mark on this kingdom and change what needs changing
Mal: oh look guys it the 5 minute countdown we'd better go join everyone else in the gardens to watch the fireworks
Ben: yeah can't miss those
*his sarcasm rather blatant*
Mal: come on you gotta go your the king
Ben: you know I've been hearing that a lot lately
Mal: haha now come on
*they all head into the gardens which had been decorated with twinkle lights and everything exciting, soon the countdown began*
Ben: five
Mal: four
Ben: three
Mal: two
Ben: one
*they kiss and then breakaway but leave their heads leaning against each other's*
Ben: happy new year
Mal: happy new year to you too
